My wife and i visited paris and north of France for two weeks, and we stayed in three hotels during our visit to France.... hotel du leman was really the best amongst all...the staff is so friendly and was very helpful and kind...check in and check out is so smooth.. .the hotel is very clean and the bed is very comfortable as well as the pillow... the hotel location is just great...it is close from all the opera surrounding with minutes of walk and it is also so close from metro station... they.

Location is fantastic, a short ten minute stroll up to Montmartre and only 15 mins in the other direction to the Lourve and Seine. I would highly recommend a stay here, especially if location, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere are top of your agenda. -Very friendly staff - top location for city discovering next to the metro, from where you go to any place in paris w/o dificulties - a lot of good restaurants, cafes, brasseries in the area between metro Grand Boulevards and Cadet stations and not far away is another walking area, Rue Montorgueil, where you can walk and eat excellent. (nothing really: the rooms are small, but you couldn't expect better for this price in such a central location). it was very good hotel but street is noisy and cloosing window hot but the in side rooms is more comfortaple. The fridge door was hanging off on arrival and the toilet seat was not attached. The hotel is very small. The lift is very,very small,just for two people and only if they will stand close to each other. For 2 day lift did not work at all. Breakfast is 12 euro for one person.We were staying for 3 nights and there were only one little , little bottle of shampoo and bottle of gel ( the same size) for 2 people for all period. The bathroom is so tiny. May be for Paris it is okey. No kettle but you can get hot water or drinking water from their breakfast area. No air-con, No heater in the room. In the winter is ok, close the windows and tuck yourself in the bed, summer ??? there is a small tower fan in the room. The bathroom was too small and the ceiling so low that you hit your head on the ceiling when you get into the shower. Needs more power points as there were only 2 which were occupied by the fridge and the fan (it was 32 degrees the days we visited). I believe it was not good value but this could have more to do with the period when I stayed which coincided with many exhibitions and events. The water supply in bathroom doesn't work very well. Sometimes you need to call the reception in order to have warm water for the shower. However they can fix the problem in few minutes. The room was really small. Very hot, no a/c available in the hotel, super small rooms. Here is a problem with soap, shampoo, shower gel, I was forced on most days to ask this THINGS because was missing from the bathroom. Expensive for what you get. Rooms are very small and congested. Service is poor. The hotel is a fire trap with an elevator that will hold only two people with small luggage if that! The fire exit is extremely narrow and dangerous and the property is not worth $35 euros. Having it on your list makes letsbookhotel.com look like they are a ruse with their rating system. From now on we shall check independent sources before booking on your recommendations!.
