Location was ideal and hotel was very clean. Did not feel like any other hotel room. With its homely-feel and its well-kept vintage decor, it felt like we were visiting family rather than staying in a boring, typical hotel room. This vintage hotel has character, something I was looking for in a hotel in Paris. Hotel room is quite simple, but so full of Parisian charm. The staff was absolutely fantastic!!! The location is simple unbeatable. Within walking distance of many major attractions and a great part of the city to go out at night. Nice for a change with a hotel that was small and cosy and not streamlined like major hotel chains, but I guess that is a taste. We really enjoyed staying there and would recommend it. Friendly staff could speak English.
All was very perfect. Attentive, responsive, polite. Arrange an easter
bunny for my daughter and asked for no money for it. Was pleasantly
surprised as they spent time and money for it. Only positive feedback
and pleasant stay there. Btw, cuisine there is very good as well.
It's location, location, location. The room was clean and tidy and serviced when we were out. For the price it was excellent value. The the bathroom with twin basins and shower was excellent and the bed comfortable.
Nice, original and old fashioned hotel just where I wanted to be and it
was not too expensive. The room and bathroom were very adequate. The
bar, even for hotel guests, closed at 11 pm.
Perfect location next to Notre Dame. Generous sized rooms for Paris with ensuite. They also accommodated a very late check in. Staff were friendly with satisfactory English.

This is a wonderfully charming and eccentric little Hotel. The staff (both of them) were charming - In a small side street just off the river, it comprises a small bar with rooms ranged on floors above. I stayed in a fabulous attic room with windows on two sides and a magical view of the towers of Notre Dame framed in one of the windows. The room furniture was a miss-matched assortment of styles and ages but charming for all that. The bathroom huge and as eccentric as the bedroom with a huge sh.

Location was fabulous. in centre of paris close to Metro and RER train stations easy to get around and to get to /from both airports.
Breakfast was simple but really good quality.
Room was very unique and great romantic French atmosphere.. Situated in
the Latin quarter.. A perfect base for seeing Paris and to enjoy our
couples weekend without the kids for a change ;) Our flight back was
late so we had the room until 5pm which was an extrordinary fine
gesture.. Thanks for a wonderfull stay.
The room was pretty and the hotel quaint. Bed and bedding were comfortable even tho not quite as we'd planned! Would love to go back when there is reastaurant.

Good location for eating, walking around, and taking a train.
Wifi could not reach our room (on the other hand, that made us relax even more :).
Worried about room security even with a lockable safe, so we carried our valuables with us when we were out.
We had a room on the 4th floor and for a couple of old age pensioners it was like facing Everest after a day out :-).
There was no lift and my room was up about 70 steps! The staff were not
at all good at finding buses and transport links.No wi fi in the room so
I had to sit in the bar to operate my computer.

It was indicated as 20 squaremeter size but I strongly believe it was smaller.
Restaurant was being rebuilded so it was closed.. No elevator, so many
stairs to the suite on 5th floor where we staid... No wifi connection on

Upset that despite requests it was a double bed and we are sisters-in-law with own homes. Lack of privacy with panelled glass bathroom. Breakfast was pricey for simple meal and there was no restaurant. Warning to summer guests there will be redevelopment this summer of Restaurant area as it is planned to re-open Sept. Would be great facility to have for late night drink/nightcap or lunch and rest, esp as no food/drinks allowed in rooms and nowhere else to sit.

You pay for location only and that is all you get.
Being put in a tiny, uncomfortable room (No 12) which was supposed to be a Superior Double Room. Previously we stayed in the Romantic Room and it was excellent.
The hotel is under renovation and looks sad and shabby at the moment. A reduction in tariff during this time would be a good idea.

If you do not stay in a room with a view of Nortre Dame, you will face a wall through the window. It would not be rational staying at this hotel, if you cannot enjoy the view of Nortre Dame. You can find other cheaper and better hotels even with breakfast included.
