The kids loved the hotel because of the playstation downstairs and the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. We loved the friendly staff in the restaurant and the great food - we had breakfasts and dinners there. They made us feel welcome all the way, they even gave the kids presents when we arrived! The hotel room was comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. There is a tramway close by.
all reviews » This was a fantastic hotel to stay in as we had a toddler with us who loved the pool. Although the prom was a 10 min walk we were so pleased we stayed in the Novotel as we were able to see all areas of Nice with only a short walk. The food, staff and facilities were excellent and if I ever stay in Nice again i will be booking this hotel.We stayed for 7 nights and the room was kept clean even if we went out on late hours, the amenities were elegant and given generously, we really enjoyed our stay!. Great value. Tram is next to the hotel and so is a train station to get you to Monaco, Cannes, etc. Staff is helpful. Location was minimum 15 mins walk from the main areas. the room did not have bath tub, the mini bar/refrigerator in the room did not have a lock which I think is necessary for families with young children since the mini bar is full of alcoholic drinks.Not central location. Parking a problem here.There was some misunderstandings with payments (room+minibar)!. Reception chaotic when I checked in - quality of staff there varied. Pool was nothing like the pictures of it and was dominated by screaming English children. Water in the bath was running on the floor. Room very dated. For three days running, despite having a "no service today" card on the door knob, the cleaning staff still knocked the door and walked on in. floor was smelling bad at all corridors. The hotel staff at the front desk were horible so that's the reason I wouldn't reccomend this hotel. The room was not clean. The staff was not friendly. They mis-calculated my hotel cost and it took one hour to correct that! If you move bottles in the minibar, the computer authomatically recognize you use the minibar.
