The décor and facilities were worthy of a 4* hotel, with air con; tea
and coffee making facilities; hair dryer. The location was perfect - 10
minute stroll to the port; 15 minute stroll to the beach and the old
town just round the corner. A one minute walk up the road took us to
Place Garibaldi which was wall to wall restaurants with street
performers - a vibrant place to be.
But the real gem of Le Geneve was Corrine, the manageress. What a star, she went the extra 9 yards to make sure we had . all reviews »
The position is super, close to Place Garibaldi, old town and bus lines towards the places to visit on the east side of Nice (e.g. Eze, Monaco, Menton etc.).
The room was nicely decorated (the bathroom as well) and with good facilities, like mini-fridge with drinks, coffee / tea making facilities, AC (though quite loud), bathroom accessories etc.
The staff was friendly as well.
The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We appreciated the free water and soft drinks on arrival and having the use of a small fridge in the room, which seems to be a rarity in European hotels. The location was excellent, very close to restaurants, the port and old town and a tram stop very close by.

Very well positioned in the town of Nice. Breakfast is no problem because at 100 meters several restaurants are serving this.
Very nice newly restaured rooms with modern design bathroom in our room nr 16.
The room was nice and quite big with really good bathroom.
There was a small fridge in the room which was convenient.
The location of the hotel is perfect, at the edge of old town, with bus stops to the airport and Monaco right in front of it.

The situation was great for visiting the vieille ville ,the marina &the beaches. Room was nice amenities excellent(bathrobes etc).

The location is in a great spot, at Garibaldi square, near the old port of Nice. The staff was helpful, the room was clean and good value for money. That's about it.
French tea bags! If you want English tea - take your own tea bags and
ask Corrine for some milk :).

The old windows don't close properly and we were plagued by Mosquitos at night. Be sure to have some repellant handy!.

There were lots of mosquitos in the room which was really annoying during night.
If you are staying in a room overlooking the main street, it might be a bit noisy.
Maybe a little disturbed from traffic if you are sensitive. No breakfast

There was no air conditioning in the room just heating.
The hotel seems to be newly opened and there were some problems with hot
water and inadequate air conditioning. No doubt these will already have
been resolved.

A little noise in the street outside during early morning. Curtain could not totally be closed, because of the pipe of the air cooling machine.

The room was fairly modern but not at all well insulated from street noise. In fact, it was very hard to sleep till early hours of the morning. I tried turning on the air conditioning to mask the street noise but the conditioner noise was even worse.
