  What a genuinely lovely hostess! We loved our room especially after a cold and windy day (in summer!) exploring the WW2 cemetery. The continental breakfast in the next morning was superb, - lovely homemade brioches and jams etc. Being close to all the sights, but still in a country village setting was a great benefit. A lovely old stone building h... what people say » ousing a warm welcome. - The hostess provided us with a welcome cup of tea and biscuits. As we left early, before breakfast, she also provided us with a breakfast tray in our room. Breakfast included home cooked food - delicious. Our room was very large with excellent facilities and was in excellent condition.

  Carole and Eric made us extremely welcome. They are a warm, welcoming, friendly and delightful couple with an equally delightful daughter. They attended to our every need and were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The rooms are clean, breakfast is simple but wholesome and with as much as you like. The gardens are well kept and if the weather had been warmer it would have been wonderf - Intimate French setting. Being American, and wanting to experience a true feel of local France, we enjoyed the quiet remoteness of the location. The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was very good, with homemade pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit and an array of beverages. Bathroom was large, almost larger than the room, with an area for hanging clothing and an in-room safe. Information regarding the surrounding area was provided in French and English.

  We absolutely loved the location. It was about 6 miles outside Bayeux and only 10-15 minute drive to Omaha Beach. The staff is very friendly, though a couple did not speak great English they made a point to help us out as much as possible. The picture of a bed in a tiny nook crossed by a wooden beam looks questionable- spacewise- in reality- it's almost like a private room-within-a room-cozy! - Jean Claud... what people say » e and Karin were very friendly and hospitable.Loved the jeep ride and the horse back riding. They were very knowledgable and gave us maps and told us great places to visit. The breakfast was fabulous and Karin really went out of her way to provide food that our boys would enjoy. Great experience-highly recommend!!
