because i like this hotel it is fine to stay more central in lyon. nice and big room!. Great views of the city from the hotel bar. Rooms were a good standard for a 4*. Very well located for transport, shops, and a 10 min walk to the town centre / bars and clubs. Hotel is near the railway station and not far from the old city, furthermore it was easy to find it - this is one of the highest building in Lyon.

Next to Galleries LaFayette and across the street from a Tram stop. Excellently located. great location and stunning view, free internet access. Location very central. The hotel is in the middle of the town and is very well located. Car parking was great.The view and the ease of location to the city centre. Bathroom was goodapart fro m small corner on floor behind toilet (dirty). better if we can pay by cash its always problem in this hotel they accept only credit card(((. Rooms were very warm, and upon complaining of lack of working air con, even though in Feb, a electric fan was delivered. We did not like the fact that after travelling all day in a car fighting wind and rain that the resturant was "reservation only". It was polietley suggested that we order room service or go to a "nearby" resturant, however (1) if we had ordered room service how long would we have had to wait and would we have gotten a discount since room service is notoriously more expensive than the resturant.it was very cold in the room - the isolation of the window is very bad. no. airconditionning in the room did not work very good and made a lot of noise - rooms to small for this class of hotel (and prices) - distance from the hotel parking to reception - hotel needs renovation to keep this price level (altough i mentioned that the prices are lower now than what we payed (reservation in december for stay in july 2008) - breakfast was OK but not on same level as the price. jazz music from the piano bar was to be heard in my room until 1.30am. including a singer using a microphone. complaining at reception didn't help.rooms are old and dusty and need a total renovation. the hotel is not worth the price you pay for the accomodation provided. he room was old and dated. Very much in need of a refresh. Not good value.The room very old. Wallpaper peeling from walls as they were poorly decorated for a hotelof this standard.. Poor wardrobe workmanship. Cheap and loose boards inwardrobe, fell as I opened door. Noise from machinery/equipment (outsidewindow on 33rd floor?) made for a noisy night.Bed unforgiving. No charm,though staff polite. Concierge was very pleasant too. Access confusingunless you arrive by car to front.it's not a good hotel.
