Location is perfect! Literally a stone's throw away from Perrache station and a few minutes walking to Place Bellecour and the Fourviere. This is THE place to stay if you want to have the great location. The staff are all very nice too. This hotel was in a great location. It was really close to the train station and a short walk to all of the major sites. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. It was a great place to stay for a short trip to Lyon.

There was a distinctive smell in the bathroom. Also, you can hear every single thing from your room - steps of the guests in the hallway or luggage being lugged on the stairs. I thought that the beds could have been a little bit cleaner. When I checked the beds the first night, there was a lot of unknown hair from previous guests on the sheets. Other than that, it was great!. Very small rooms. lack of elevator. Noise from the street. no lifts. Old furniture. Dingy with threadbare carpets. Toilet/shower door difficult to close. Hairdryer ineffective. No lift. No tea/coffee making facilities. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Really concerned whether there were adequate escape routes in event of fire. One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in - horrible. The hotel has no elevator, so if you have a heavy bag, it will be a problem ... Super dirty. I was there for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned. There was a lot of dirt under the bed. The worst: I saw a mouse the last day. In the closet of room 8 there's a hole in the wall and I saw it getting out of there.
