Very central, helpful staff and a surprisingly good breakfast. Convenient location and staff helpful. It is very central to both stations and the town, breakfast can be bought up to your room at no extra cost, room very clean.and had smoking facility on top floor. The bathroom, location and value for money.City centre. Very convenient for the main station and shopping areas, and fairly close to the Eurostar station too. The staff dealt with everything efficiently and the reception was open 24 hours.all reviews »
Great location....short walk from eurostar and close to all of the action in town. Not the largest rooms but simple, clean and no fuss. Ideal location, good sound and termic isolation, good heating, small but practical room, flat TV with digital channels.very central location, helpful staff, nice rooms. Evening hotel receptionist was a bit grumpy but she did her job ok. The paper thin walls, but even though the hotel was fully booked, it was still pretty quite.Walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbours. One has to decide a day before if one takes breakfast, breakfast room did not look nice, so we opted for McDonalds.room had very strong smell of airfreshener was nice at the start then got a bit much we had to open the window, but in the grand scheme of things this is small down side. Good shower, but water runs into the bath room.The breakfast was not included and too expensive. A couple of extra pillows would have been nice.Both of us have been flea bitten several times which must have been due to bed-bugs. The sheets were washed and pressed but there were stains on them which were unpleasant. The blankets and bed covers were not washed – but fortunately the room was warm so we did not need them. The bathroom was very clean as were the towels.
