When I found Hotel Bellan in one of the areas he suggested, it seemed like a perfect fit. The price sounded good, the photos looked nice, and the reviews were pretty good. Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Pompidou, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the restaurants and bars in the Latin Quarter. I was on my own, going out every night and felt perfectly safe walking the streets back late. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and bars perfect for breakfast or dinner if you werent up for straying too far after a full day of exploring the city. The staff were lovely even the poor night staff who had to come down from reception late every night to let me in.

It is a friendly family hotel in the heart of Paris located very close to the centre and the Metro station. Near to M3 ( Bourse station ), M8 & M9 ( Grand Boulevards Station ) to start your paris expedition. But hey who cares for the trains, you can walk around until you reach at eiffel tower. Isnt it amazing? The reception on duty were very accomodating esp the guy, i forget the name "sorry" who always has a smile whenever we ask a hot water everytime we arrive late in the evening.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and English was always available. The location was great, a few blocks from the Louvre, We walked most places and used the Metro at times and took the RER to Versailles. All these were close and good restaurants too. Would love to come back. -
