  The proprietors were very welcoming and attentive and happy to greet us. We had a beautiful room outlooking the courtyard with french doors and a small balcony on which to sit (bliss - one morning I awoke to the birds singing - who gets this in any city setting?). In the comfort room there was a change of towels each day, hairdrier in the closet and free of charge safe. Location is perfect, next to Oberkampf metro station, and also near to the second one. The neighborhood is friendly and safe, full of brasserie's and shops, and also next to restaurant on the corner, where, late at night

  The staff were very nice and the room was very comfortable. The area was not touristy and the people in the area were very friendly. - Room was good size, and bright. WC was luxe - great to take a long bath instead of a quick shower.

Very professional for a 2-star hotel! - This hotel is in a fabulous area of Paris, not at all touristy and with a wide variety of local shops, with a market at the bottom of the street. We've stayed here many times over the years - on this visit ... what people say » our room had been refurbished. It's still a fairly basic hotel but excellent value for money.
