  Hotel Room was very good. Hotel is new and modern on the inside, old chateau exterior.. Good pool and steam room. You have to ask to have it put on as it is left off. It does work, just ask. Do not expect an old world chateau experience it's modern. Highly recommended. - Sandrine and Jean Louis are a wonderful couple who made us feel most welcome to their lovely home. Spotless, beautifully designed and highly comfortable. Lagord is a great centre for La Rochelle with a Park and Ride only metres away. No parking problems. Perfect.

The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. Overall the Hotel provided a lovely place to stay and relax. - We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return to the same hotel next year.
