Great central location. Warm welcome. Characterful building. Good value breakfast. The hotel was in Honfleur, France: we visited the town and its sightsand museums and took up the atmosphere in cafe's and restautants. No car park.Parking - only public parking available. We had to leave the window open, since it was very warm and consequently the traffic noise kept us awake.Parking is difficult, but that is a problem of Honfleur, not of the hotel. smell of smoke in non-smoking room, strange glazed sliding door between room and bathroom/toilet. Suite combination could have provided more privicy regarding the bedroom and toilet facilities. Badly fitting sliding doors are a poor substitute at those prices although we do appreciate the age and layout of the property. 1. Busy narow street made it difficult to unload suitcases from car. 2. No parking close to hotel and charged for use of garage.The breakfast. It's expensive for what it is.No parking, no restaurant, but loads nearby !!. Lack of bath, small bedrooms, dirty dishes not cleared away from table while we having breakfast.window had to be shut due to road noise/partygoers. The room was tiny and smelt of cigarettes. we did not know smoking was allowed but there was an ashtray in the room. No bar or lounge. it was very simpel and small.
