We stayed in the Le Gytan annexe. The accommodation was excellent and
well decorated. Breakfast was served at the annexe and was to a very
high standard. Dinner was at the Cremaillere and the quality of food was
good and choice of menus varied. It would be very acceptable for most
peoples tastes.

We arrived at the hotel past the check in time and we had called aheadto advise of this and they were waiting for us, when we asked ifdinner was still ready they made dinner even though the kitchen wasclosed. Amazingly helpful as far as the Normandy Beaches was concernedand pointed out where the office of tourism was. Amazingly friendly.Great view.

The room was beautiful and very spacious. The chateau has also been restored, but in a very tasteful way that felt both authentic and comfortable without being too modern. The family who runs the chateau was so helpful and very friendly. There were several other groups of travelers around for breakfast and there was good conversation between the owners, the others and ourselves. The house we stayed in was excellent. It was well designed, well equipped, clean and an ideal size for a family of four. The location was also excellent for walking access to the town and D-Day beach but also for car access to the other sites of interest such as Bayeaux. The whole site was well maintained and clean -

Absolutely lived the village. Perfect. Walking the marina and seeing the fresh fish unloaded in the morning - just had to but some oysters. A simply beautiful place to stay and an excellent hotel (both for the thought that had gone into the hotel rooms and the location). Won't hesitate to go there again.

Always good to have kitchen facilities. Had a brand new fridge but the rest of the kitchen facilities were tired. On arrival the owner was there waiting for us as we had stated what time we were arriving. He was very helpful even though there was a language barrier.
