  This is the second time that we have stayed at La Roseraie and we enjoyed it as much as last year. Our room (23) was spacious and clean, bathroom was also spacious. The gardens are beautiful and we ate out in the garden the first night we were there. Breakfast is good. Sabine was especially friendly and helpful. And the restaurant was delicious. I would recommend it as a base to explore the Loire Valley by car (free off-street parking is included). And the price provided great value. - T Hotel La Roeraie was within easy walking distance of Chenonceau Castle. The hotel was lovely in a lassie French way. We the dinner at the homeland the food was excellent. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with tables -- I would have loved to linger there or drinks but did not have time. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I hope to stay there again.

The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, the room well appointed if a bit on the small side, the hotel itself charming, and the food, though a trifle expensive, was amazing and beautifully served. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

Secure parking was available although a little walk from the hotel - small lovely hotel with quaint rooms and a nice restaurant; location is very good - just one or two minutes' walk to the chateau; hotel staff professional and helpful.

We had an enormous room upstairs with a shower you could fit an army under. The bed was also large and as I am 94cm tall I really appreciated that.
