  This is a unique lodge situated in a 14th century castle of sorts. The building, although somewhat updated to standards of our times, is basically a medieval one. This can excite the fancy of some, and disappoint others. We were not particularly impressed by this characteristic of the lodge and it's yesteryear appearance. We were, however, amazed... what people say » by the beauty and grandeur of nature in this G_D's little acre. Highly recommended for those travelers that yearn for the legacy of centuries gone by - A fantastic budget option, easy to find and in a wonderful region to just look around, walk in the forest, or for your onward journey. Friendly staff and a very lovely meal in their restaurant, at reasonable prices. Overall, a very happy stay and recommended to all without pretense.

  The incredibly beautiful location (in a secluded valley in the spectacular Vercors region), nice staff, excellent food, large, clean and comfortable though simply furnished bedrooms (which is reflected in low room rates).
