  What a find! It was my 65th birthday retirement and we wanted somewhere to stay that would reflect the past 45 years in the wine trade. The hotel is family run with Mr le Chef and Mme., front of house and waiting. I have rarely had such a gastronomic experience in France even when being entertained by some of the finest wine suppliers of the cou... what people say » ntry. The food was "Master Chef" standard both in appearance and multi contrasting flavours. Superb! The hotel has an extensive wine list which has be - A lovely hotel with wonderful freshly cooked food, excellent wine list with wines from the area and beyond, very friendly and helpful staff, and delightful rooms and facilities; all within a pleasing countryside setting. We will definitely visit again when in France.

  Basic but very clean hotel. The rooms are modern and perfect for an overnight stay. Nice restaurant attached to the hotel. Breakfast again simple but good. Plenty of free parking.   Excellent very good-natured host.The accommodation is spacious, very clean, very well-equipped, with "tastefully-old" ambience blending well with quality fittings. Very good buffet breakfast, including bacon and eggs if you desire. We would recommend reserving evening meal here in advance, as this will save you the hassle of searching for a good r... what people say » estaurant in Macon (an uninspiring place compared to Cluny). - The owners of the B & B are very friendly and accommodating. The house is traditional in a lovely setting. We had dinner one night and it was delightful with plenty of food and wine. We did not travel by car and the owners were happy to collect us from the train station. Great friendly service all round. Macon is a lovely town with a stunning waterfront. Only 1.5 hours by TGV from Paris!
