The hotel is charming and well located to explore the city by foot. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable although not very big. We loved the Hermes toiletries and the macaroons at night. There was a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was delicious. We liked being able to sit in the courtyard surrounded by greenery. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities in the room are excellent - lots of power sockets, excellent toiletries, availability of fresh fruit, wine, well stocked mini bar. The hotel is right in the centre of Bordeaux. The wine bar in the hotel is excellent as was the breakfast.

Room was very comfortable and hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The local specialty of macarons placed on our bed was a nice extra. The attentive personnel, the amazing decoration (design and chic), the perfect central location, the most comfortable bed in the world. Professional service beyond that normally expected. Many luxury touches in the room. Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping. I loved the macarons! I also liked the service received from the staff, who were very knowledgeable and helpful. Stairs only way to room, but luggage handled by staff, so it was not really a problem. Our room was a little small to accommodate our baby's cot. It meant that we had to move the cot every time we needed to go to the bathroom or leave the bedroom which was a bit annoying. A room which was slightly bigger would have been good and would have made our stay more comfortable. I was dissappionted that they didnt ensure at breakfast that items whether coffee or food were not fully topped up without asking and the policy of not cleaning the rooms until late afternnon was dissappionting although they responded immediately when asked. A full length mirror would have been really good after all the shopping! We did have one - but it was horizontal and above the bed!!!. Picky-picky: slow elevator. The staff could be better trained concerning what the city of Bordeaux has to offer. Nothing not to like. The room wasn't as nice as expected. There were no photos of our room on the website so we were disappointed considering what we paid. Trainee at the front desk in the evening alone... Despite booking through letsbookhotel.com when we arrived, they had no reference of our booking. Nothing. The weather!. nothing. The were more concerned with design than with comfort. Many things are more comfortable to use in a simpler, but more practical hotel. The elevator is extremely slow and small, the bathroom in the room very uncomfortable, etc. No service at breakfast. The loo in Room 5 was virtually next to the bed. No extraction fan in loo.
