The apartment was well equipped, a short walk away from the centre, but near to a boulangerie that sold great bread and croissants. There was also a small supermarket nearby for emergencies. Sylvia who met us at the apartment was very helpful, she sent us a text on the morning of our arrival to confirm our time, and was there to meet us when we arrived. The apartment is located on a narrow road, near to a main road and factory, but we did not hear any noise from either with the double glazing.
all reviews » On arrival we were met by a girl called Sylvia, who was very friendly & very helpful, even giving us her mobile number in case we needed to ask her anything or needed help!! The apartment was how it was described on letsbookhotel.com, it was comfortable and clean with everything we needed & a well equipped kitchen. It was in a quiet residence street about 5mins walk to the supermarket & maybe 10mins to the old town. We had a very enjoyable stay & would use the apartments again!!. Kitchen was well equipped andmodern, plenty of bench space in lounge and bedroom. Bathroom was clean and functional. Overall this apartment is great, including the free laundry downstairs. Quiet neighbourhood close to autoroute exit but a bit far from the old quarter, but we can't expect everything, especially when it comes to location. Sylvia who looked after us was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and professional: she sent us a text message on morning of our arrival day, was there to greet us when we arrived, and allowed us back into another flat to take shower (after Annecy Triathlon!) the evening after we left our flat. Sylvia, who was there when we arrived, was lovely. After a quick tour of the apartment she told us where to eat and drink and where to visit. The apartment is located within easy walking distance of the old town with the benefits of on-site parking. Recommended. The apartment was very clean and confortable. We liked having a fully equipped kitchen for preparing breakfast. Overall it is good value for money as we got an excellent price using letsbookhotel.com. Staff are wonderful and appartment was great, very well appointed. Free parking was a pleasant change. Sylvia was very helpful. Having a garage available for my motorbike was good. Short walk in to town centre. Great apartment, spotlessly clear, quiet location. Excellent value for money . We could have done with a small welcome pack of basic essentials (bread, milk, water etc) when we arrived, as arrival time is 5pm and being a Sunday all of the shops were closed. This was the only downside with the whole stay. Nothing, all great. Nothing. It is a bit far from Annecy city centre, although you can get there by walking 20 minutes. At night it is better going out by car as it can be tiring walking back to the apartment after dinner. A little bit of a walk into town,m but ok. Impressed that some think the place is "5 minutes" from Annecy town centre. It's a steady 15 minutes away! I found it impossible to sleep with bedroom window ajar, owing to noise from nearby major road. Constant. Surprised that such a well-equipped apartment had no microwave oven. Nothing! :). Didn't realize our apartment is on the top floor and there's no lift access to it. Takes a lot of effort for my 80years old granny to get there and we are not allowed to swap to a lower floor. Not very near to the town center, 10 - 15 mins walk.
