Santa Claus Holiday Village is located at the heart of Santa Claus Village in the Arctic Circle, 10 km north of Rovaniemi. It offers private cabins and free airport transfer. All of the heated cabins at the Holiday Village have private saunas, a kitchenette and a terrace. They are equipped with private bathrooms and LCD TVs. Staff can help arrange reindeer, husky and snow mobile safaris, and boats, bikes and fishing equipment can be rented on site. Guests can also enjoy the skiing and hiking trails nearby. Lappish and international food is served at Christmas House Restaurant & Coffee. Free Internet access is available in public areas. A shop selling souvenirs and traditional Lapland goods and food is also found on site. Rovaniemi Airport is located 5 minutes from the cabin village. Guests can also visit Santa Claus a 2-minute walk away.

Everything! We flew out for February half term, the owners and staff are really friendly and welcoming, and were waiting for us at the airport with the Santa bus! We were driven to reception to book in and then to our cabin. The cabins are lovely, spotlessly clean, warm, soundproof (although you can hear people come in to the shared entrance) and have everything you need to self cater. We stayed here for a couple of nights then drove north and came back for the last night, we were given a lift .
all reviews » I am a wholly deaf solo traveller. During March 2013, I stayed at the Santa Claus Holiday Village, Napapiiri near Rovaniemi for 4 nights. I arrived in Rovaniemi Airport (5 minutes’ journey by minibus to schv) and I met the friendly Santa Claus Holiday Village minibus driver before he drove me directly to my cabin, because the reception was closed after 10pm – he gave me the information sheet and the guests’ details form for me to fill in ready for handing to the receptionist the next day. The c. The only way I can describe this place is magical, the perfect Holiday Destination! The accommodation was warm, clean and cosy with everything you need if you are self catering. We had the Buffet Breakfast where even with fussy children we all found something to eat, there was a good choice. We had snow (end of Nov) so we were able to enjoy all the winter activities...when we could get the children off the ice slide! Marco and His wife Inga were most helpful as were the rest of the staff. My Bo. The cottage was amazing, very clean and great bed. Also the sauna in the bathroom was a wonderful addition. The pick-up and drop-off service for the airport is so nice and convenient. Staff is friendly and really wants to make your stay as good as possible. The Santa Claus Village is a wonderful (romantic) place and also lots of nice activities to do. The husky sledge rides at the Husky Park are one of the things you shouldn't miss!. Location is great, right next to Santa Claus Village. Staffs are helpful and friendly. The cottages are equipped with private sauna! It's 99 EUR per night, but it's a hotel! Living in Rovaniemi per night in a guesthouse costs around 50, not worth it. Extremely recommend this place. Visiting Santa Claus Village is a great experience!. The hotel was quite well equipped. And the breakfast was excellent. The staff were also kind and professional. I could arrange winter activities through the reception desk very easily. The cabin that I stayed in was exotic and particularly my children much loved the sauna facility, which was set up inside the individual cabin. The room was great and just what you needed and sauna was fantastic. The children loved the room as it was always nice and warm after being outside in the cold. The whole family loved the experience and staff always friendly and helpful. The children loved the breakfast because there was a great variety to choose from. Brand new chalet with excellent facilities. V quiet and well equipped rooms even supplied with a sledge and kick sledge. Sauna in bathroom is brilliant, especially as it was minus 31 degrees centigrade outside. Rooms were v well heated. 100% recommend. Markko and Inge were brilliant hosts. Food was excellent also. Everything. Fairy tale ambiance. Snow around, plenty of activities easily organized by very nice and warm staff. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with plenty and very tasteful food.Nice and cosy bungalow with sauna to warm up. Would reccomend to anyone with small children or who wishes to taste polar exotics. I liked that the buffet breakfast was included. Location was the best for experiencing a winter wonderland with Santa and the reindeer. Prices to get a photo with Santa are exorbitant. Our room included a fridge with a mini kitchen and small toaster oven. I loved that free wifi was included with the room rate. Staffs were very nice and helpful, they provided us a super late check-out immediately when they heard we had a rather late flight. Since our departure day was Mother's day and their driver didn't work that late, they booked & paid us an airport taxi which also picked us up right in front of our cabin!. Very helpful and flexible crew able to arrange almost everything. We were an hour late of schedule but the transfer car was still waiting for us at the airport. We asked for breakfast earlier than normal - "OK no problem". Plus private sauna in the room after long flight - really relaxing. I recommend it. Fantastic place - would definitely recommend. The cabin was lovely, clean and warm (four of us shared a cabin & we had ample room). Everything in the whole village was magical and the staff were just brilliant. The children (and us) didn't want to leave. Would love to go back!. The houses are very clean, cosy and comfortable, everything you need is just there. The kitchenette is very useful and sauna gives you good relax. Atmosphere and staff are exactly what you would expect of a holiday village! And Santa Clause home/office is unforgettable. The location next to Santa Claus Village as well as to the bus station is a big plus point, and the cabin we stayed for a night is well maintained and very comfortable. Breakfast is decent. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it's good value for money!. Santa of course! But also, the owners were very helpful. The whole family had great fun: the husky ride, sauna, playing in the snow, nice playground, xmas music at the music at the village and using Santa's post office, all a memorable experience. Comfortable house, kind staff, tasty breakfasts, fantastic nature and a lot of programs: reindeer, husky and snowmobile safaries, ski, skates etc. We had ideal environment for unforgettable holidays!. the cabin had it's own sauna. beautiful and comfortable. We liked practically everything. The children had their first experience of sauna and it was very pleasant. The wheather was very snowy and we found ourselves in Christmas in November. Excellent place to view the Aurora Borelis Quite and peaceful Rooms are well-equipped, clean, nicely-decorated and new Great fun especially for kids even though we did not bring kids. we saw aurora borealis again when we got back.. Love the facilities and the convenience of the place.. definitely will love to return here again soon!!. the concept is excellent. the staff is very good, polite and smiling. all the units also have a kitchen which is very convenient. good breakfast. I'm quite a fan of sprouts carrots and broccoli, but the Finns don't seem to do vegetables - maybe it's all that snow Washing up!. Coming Home!. Nothing. Nothing. Unfortunately the fridge kept going off but we reported the problem and it was promptly sorted by staff. We found out where the fuse box was located and sorted it when it happened again. We did loose our food however because it happened whilst we were out all day. We thought everything was a bit over priced. Prices were expensive for souvenirs, food and activities. Breakfast was boring by day 2 since no variety. No tubs in the rooms, only a shower and a sauna. Very few television channels. When I complained that the TV was not working, no one came to fix it, so I played with the control and got it to work. There is no one at the reception from 10 pm to 6 am and no telephones in the room. I don't know why they didn't provide boiled eggs for breakfast on the weekend, and the wifi signal was weak and unstable; But except of these two small things, everything was very good!. Unfortunately there was not enough snow to do the snow mobile or husky sleigh rides - but that just means we will have to go again :). Food a bit expensive for us when dining in restaurants but OK for a couple of days. A place to spend evenings (cafe / pub) would be useful, unless you are fond of having a quiet evening in the room, which is ok too. There was just one type of cheese in the breakfast for the 4 days we spent.. None. Couldn't buy a bottle of wine to take to our cabin in the evening (Finnish law). Everything was excellent!. nothing, great place to stay. Nothing. All the shops and cafes were closed by 5 p.m. Limited night time activities for adults Shop close rather early. the location being slightly away from the city can hamper you if one wishes to travel to city centre. A few of the souvenirs were overpriced. They could have more activities for kids and also for adults. Take more profit of the space they have. kitchen very small. 1) The road to the cottage is still under construction, many dust & small rock !! 2) No fan, bad ventillation !! If open the window, but no privacy. 3) There is no electric socket for X'mas tree night at balcony. No food store nearby. Nothing. Nearly no activity at night (after 6pm) Included breakfast is not good. I do not like to play the reindeer ride even i did play it. My tear was came out when I was in the reindeer ride. Wish the staff treat them well. The road to the cottages are full of small stones and sand, which is not good when bring with luggages. not so many good places to eat nearby. Nothing. no. Not much restaurant nearby. The dinner is included but don't expect too much. The food quality must be improved. Only one restaurant opened the evening in the village. Provide bus transfer from Rovanimi city to Village in the evening (eg. 21:00) is better.
