Very gentle staff, Russian speaking persons at reception. Fantastic facilities such as Aqua-park, Ice arena, good gim, etc. Breakfast and dinner buffers are not so big but tasty very much. Good sport bar. All sport channels are available including Russian. We liked the aquapark a lot. The show of fountains is excellent. We liked the design inside the hotel. The idea of no central light in the pool. We liked the huge amount of different available activities.
all reviews » Location close to the russian-finnish boarder. Hotel is situated on the Saimaa see, good opportunity to rest on the beach and to swim. The holiday can be combined with shopping in Imatra and Lappeenranta. The staff at the reception were very good, tried to make you feel welcome despite the busy traffic. Easy access to everything was a big bonus (spa and other facilities). wide range of amenities - water park, restaurants, bowling etc. extended operating hours for most of them which makes the place not boring in the evening time. We had very good time in your hotel. Staff was very friendly. The meal was good. People that live in hotel also were very nice. good atmosfire) thank you. Liked the fact that the water park is enough entertainment for young children. Carpets on the floor in corridor and in the room smell by chemical cleansers and cause respiratory allergy - sneezing and hard breathing. Breakfast pretty poor value for money. Unpleasant surprise was the fact that we had to pay extra 48€ for the spa because we'd booked through letsbookhotel.com. Overall our stay for one night with 2 kids sleeping in the same small pull-put bed came to 186€, which is a bit too much in my opinion. water park looks nice but is not interesting enough, at least for adults. i had a room without balcony(. We took a family room for 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 2 years). Lacked a kettle. Outdoors no playground. No refregerator, no towels!And no one wants to help you with it!Staff is unfriendly...especially russian Houskeeping(....Whenever, we will come back to give them a second chance!). Also, the hotel did not offer a buffet lunch meal when we were.An it might be a good idea to offer meal discounts, E.G. if one is staying longer. Still a lot of construction around the hotel, a lot of dust in the room. Price of room does not include spa use. Selection of food at breakfast deteriorated since last visit. Restaurant le biff: expensive little portions. Breackfast, coffee, expensive dinners in restaurant. the number of days spent there-so FEW!. We take two rooms for different cost, but it was the same...... We didn't understand. Cleaning of the rooms was really bad. Restaurant "La Biff" wasn't excellent. They included the whole bottle of wine in the check instead of a glass that was actually ordered. No excuses or pardons occurred. The waiter didn't even say "Good bye". It seemed like they wanted to trick us. Very dark in aqua park! (( There's no children playground out of hotel. Many people. Spa is poor. The food-too much chemical and not healthy food and bread-almost no fruits...((. poor children's menu. Pay for spa. poor, very expensive lunch and dinner in Easy Kitchen. There is no air con in the room. We were sad because of cofe and tee are not in castle any more. Breakfast is much worse than in Kylpyla Spa. nothing. pay aquapark. Decpite the hotel is new the room furniture looks weary. The spa is not included in the cost, and is expensive (other spa hotels that we visited in Finland is much cheaper and included in the room cost). The couch (extra bed) for two children 15 and 9 years (a boy and a girl) - is not a good option - bunk beds (as in Imatran Kylpyla hotel) - would be more approptiate. Water park is not included into the price, very poor breakfast, not clean in the breakfas area. The room had a nice view, but the safe and some bathroom facilities didn't work. Location is compromised: not really close to the lake, windows facing carparks or construction sites nearby. Crowds of people wearing bathrobes. Probably the right choice for those who want to live within an aqua-park. Breakfast buffet lunch and dinner is very expensive.
