I was really impressed with the total abcence of staff on reception : you just get a SMS with the room number and key code for doors. Everything is already prepared - the look into the future ! :). Rooms are clean and comfortable. You have all you need - kitchen ware, microwave, cooking oven, tea pot, good fridge, iron with a board etc. Huge room, useful kitchenette, proximity to a supermarket.

Easy to enter with the door code but no staff to turn to if you have questions. Great heated room for those who freeze easily!. Good price; very clean and tidy. Key code to access building and room arrived by SMS and email on time, and worked. Easy access to restaurants in town centre. The space of the room was fairly generous. The opportunity to park in the same building. The location,the price and the interior are exellent. More clear instructions how to find the parcking place (undegrownd S-Mart) are required : there are some construction works in Lahti now (till 2015), so some streets are closed for trafic. Windows are closed permanently. Staff present only a few hours per day, main (reception's one) door lock wasn't working one time for no reason. We had no need to contact the owners, but wondered how that would be possible after-hours or at weekends. In the guidebook to the hotel in the room, I don't believe that question was addressed. The room was not very clean but there was dust a bit all over. No reception staff on site - fine for us, but a pain if needed. Parking is either free on nearby streets after 6pm, or you need to pay in underground garage. The elevators were gross, a lot of grafitti and the stench of urine was awful. There was a sign in the room that said we had to clean the room, do the dishes etc before we left, otherwise there would be a fee. Nothing about the cleaning was mentioned at the time of booking- that was bad. It was Forenome's fault,they didn't send the code,but the manager in Helsinki didn't want even to speak& sent us to letsbookhotel.com.She was very rude.We got our room only after your help.Thanks.The conditioner in all rooms is out of order. Didn't change bed linen than spoiled rest, there is personnel. We were with litle child. In our room the air conditioning wasn't working. I called the office, told the maid spoke at the reception about the problem. And the staff nothing was done to fix the problem. In the end, we didn't sleep all night. The child was exhausted. I was dissatisfied with the work of the staff.
