There is public transport, of course, but during the night it is not so frequent. It would be better if a visitor could turn off the ventilation fan in bathroom, because as for now it is always on and can't be turned off. But as for me it is not quite a big issue.sauna working time is not comfortable((. it is a little bit far away if you do not have a car. wall in shower was broken. was no soap, only shower gel in bathroom.Floor in the bathroom is cool, without heating. to far from center of Helsinki. The Hotel was difficult to find: unless you know the place or have a car navigator it is difficult to localise it. Traffic (and road) signs are very poor (generally speaking) and you need a car to reach the metro or the nearest shopping centre. I strongly advise the Hotel management to improve on the Hotel road signs. There were a lot of ants in our room on the ground floor((((!!!!!, that is why we had to change our room. I think the hotel manager should do something with this problem not to lose clients in the future.Unpleasant smell in the coridors.Breakfast very early- better until 10.30. the hotel have to be renovated. I didn't quite like the fact that the chambermaid failed to replenish the empty liquid soap container on the washbasin during our three-night stay at the hotel.First room was not cleaned. They fixed it right away and I get new room. Our room was not cleaned properly. After we complained, they have put us to another room which was fine. It was very very dark inside and bathrooms were from the 70's! It wasout of season and very quiet. More of a conference venue than atourist hotel. Smell from the bathroom.

All of the twin rooms have a sea view and singles have a view of either the inner yard and the sea or the surrounding forest. In all the twin rooms you can regulate the room temperature yourself.

All of the rooms have hardwood floors, so they are suitable for allergy sufferers and some of the rooms cater for disabled persons.

The rooms have been refurbished in recent years and the latest updates in the interior and technical equipment were completed last year.

Travelling information

Conference Hotel Rantapuisto is located in Ramsinniemi, in the Vuosaari district of Helsinki, 15 km from the centre of Helsinki and 20 km from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Public transportation

There is a metro from the centre to Rastila metro station, from where there is a bus connection towards Ramsinniemi about every 10 minutes (bus number 96, evenings also number 98).

The bus stop is in the crossing of Meri-Rastilantie and Ramsinniementie roads, from where it is about 600 meters along Ramsinniementie to Conference Hotel Rantapuisto.

Also during weekdays (Monday to Friday) there is a small service line bus marked “Palvelulinja” (P 7) that leaves from Rastila metro station and goes to Rantapuisto every morning at 8.15am and goes back to the metro station in the afternoon at 4.18pm.

Arriving with your own car

From Itäkeskus shopping centre drive along Meripellontie – road towards Vuosaari. Right after Vuosaari – bridge take the exit to Rastila and turn right at the end to Meri-Rastilantie – road. Drive about 800 meters and turn right to Ramsinniementie – road, and drive along for about 600 meters after which there will be a sign of Kokoushotelli Rantapuisto to the left.
