It is really a very nice surprise nice atmosphere clean beautiful room with a luxury feeling wooden floor everything very fresh and a wonderful breakfast worth the price and very important available and chap parking in the middle of Copenhagen - almost to good to be true. staff very welcoming, rooms of an excellent standard, easy to reach, in walking distance of copenhagen central station and Tivolli, would definately recommend and will definately stay again. Rooms were large and beds were very comfy. Breakfast was also nice.

Difficult with the front doors when a lot of packing.We reserved this hotel mainly because of its location and wirelessinternet access. The location was ok, but wireless internet had itsproblem. During our stay of 7 days, we only had access during 2, whichwas more than inconvenient, since our business is internet-related. The room featured a small-ish bathroom and I had to unplug lights tofree up sockets for phone- and PC-chargers.Not really. we had to pass thorugh an outdoors stretch to get to the place where breakfast was served. located in working class area.

All 64 rooms are unique and are furnished and decorated in Guldsmeden’s signature designer Balinese style, combining the utmost in comfort, luxury and original art.

The neighbourhood has lots of cafés, small shops and old houses.
Each morning the reception area on the first floor is transformed into an intimate little café, where our exceptional breakfast buffet is served. On our organic breakfast buffet you’ll find a selection of high-quality bread, homemade yoghurt, a delicatessen counter and French cheeses. All served on hand-decorated Mexican crockery.

Vesterbro - the former red light district:
During the last ten years Vesterbro has undergone a massive transformation and is no longer the bad neighbourhood where it was not entirely safe to go at night. Instead it is now an attractive and fashionable place to live and hang out.

Hang out at Halmtorvet:
On Halmtorvet, a former red light district in Copenhagen, a number of cafes and restaurants have opened during the last years and during summertime the sidewalks are crowded with tables of people sipping coffee.

Travelling information

By Car:
- From the City Hall Square simply follow Vesterbrogade for 5 minutes drive and then Carlton will appear on the right side shortly after Vesterbro Torv.

By Bus:
From the City Hall Square you can catch bus number 6A which will take you directly to the hotel.

From Copenhagen Airport (10km):
Take a taxi from the airport or you can catch the train to Copenhagen Central Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
From there catch bus 6A or walk directly to Carlton. The walk takes approximately 10 minutes.
