The charming hotel built in 1730 is extremely well located at the castle end of the famous Charles bridge just around the corner on a quiet side street. We had a huge 2 room suite with 2 fabulous king sized beds with luxurious linens, 9 foot ceilings with a frescoes ceiling in the living room and very old parquet floors throughout. The bathroom was new, very well equipped and everything was very clean. We even had a fully stocked minibar that was reasonably priced. Our tiny glassed in balc.
all reviews » The hotel is in a great location in Lesser Town, just over Charles Bridge. You can be at the Castle or the Old Town Square within 10-15 mins (walking). The building has character, original features nicely blended with modern facilities. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very cosy. Our room had a king size bed which was exceptionally comfortable. Local beer available straight from the tanks downstairs, food was available but we did not end up eating at the hotel. The bar/dining area seems t. Loved this hotel. all staff were friendly. Breakfast included was nice. Buffet style, with bread, cheese, meat, waffles, toaster, sauges etc... Room was a lovely surprise. We had room 34 in the attic. Room was very big with a king size comfy bed, terrace, flat screen tv and sofa area. Nicest hotel i have stayed in on a city break. Reception staff very helpful when asking for directions and booking our taxi's to and from the airport. Hotel is on the edge of the charles bridge on the lesser town. Great location. Charles Brige is within a half minute so Old Town reached in 10 minutes by walk. From the airport takes about an hour by public transport ( nearest metro station is 5 minutes by walk ) Room is very clean & warm, WiFi & shower are strong, breakfast by the young chef is exellent. The ladies at the reception are friendly, helpful with a great smile. I stayed 7 nights there and will stay again 7 nights soon. You should book this place and enjoy your time in Prague. We liked everything! Unbeatable location, but still quiet. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Spotless! No bath in our room, but great shower. Minibar at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was excellent, good coffee. There is a restaurant downstairs, so very handy if you don't wan't to go far for a meal or a drink. The staff made us feel at home, we had no problems checking in late (about 1 am) and we had a smooth checking out. Thanks!!!. The room was like in a ski chalet- top floor with windows viewing the old city and even a sky light! -Separate entrance to foyer and to room and bathroom made it so you don't disturb those who are sleeping. -Lovely ski/euro design. Great staff, delicious buffet breakfast and restaurant featuring homemade soups and sausages,, and of course ..beer! Wish we could have stayed another night, but it was full.!;). All historical places are within walking distance. Metro is near hotel, 5-7 min by foot. The Hotel is located within a few feet from the start of the Charles Bridges the rooms are of a very large size with colorfully ceiling painting there are very clean and have a private taxi services to take you to the airport witch is the cheapest one that I have come across so far. Incredible location, great rooms, highly recommended place. Hotel staff were incredibly nice and friendly -- after hearing that I would be meeting my long distance girlfriend in Prague for the weekend they gave us a free upgrade to a suite on the top floor. This is a fantastic hotel.The location is perfect,the room was huge the staff were friendly the breakfast was filling and varied the place was perfectly clean and the hotels own bar was great too. Could it be possible for a room to be available for late checkout, so like ourselves, we could come back to change and freshen up before or flight and not have to use the disabled toilet. Our room was above the kitchen so was a little noisy in the morning. We were on the 4th floor and there wasn't a lift which could be a challenge for older people. Check before you book. Nothing. Room was very very hot. Waking up with the smell of cooking meat wafting up the inner courtyard into the room windows. stereotypically we would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No tea & coffee facilities in the room. Nothing to dislike. No elevator. Breakfast too early. You could always smell the food they were cooking from the restaurant downstairs. It always smelled amazing, but after awhile, we really didn't want to smell it anymore. Internet reception was weak the first couple of days but improved considerably the last day of our stay. Stairs!. Bar staff should learn about receptions service, attitude was not the best. No elevator. Nothing!. Would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. Only minor: Weak Wi-Fi signal in my room, no CZ TV channels, no elevator. The room is a bit small. Wi Fi is important but pretty intermittent here, could this be upgraded. Lighting in our room could have been better with more low level lamps lamps. Noise and food smells from the restaurant. Stairs - simply because i have bad knees. No A/C, but not really a big deal.
