We really loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful! Compared to other hotels in Europe, it was a great value! We paid for a room with a view and boy did we have a view. We were dead even with the clock tower! It was great!!! And we did NOT wake up at all through the night due to noise. The temp of the room was very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful.

I look forward to my return. A+. A very romantic, cultural and sophisticated place, especially if you stay in the Old Town Square. You walking boots will be worn out if you are not... You will enjoy every corner of this place. The location, the room, the breakfast - all were very nice. I want to surprise my Mom with a trip to Prague within the next year or so, and I'd like to treat her to the same hotel.The hotel was beautiful. The location was perfect. Location of hotel is great, clean room and building, well maintained building, v nice breakfast. Central location. That the hotel was situated in the most beutyful part of Prague. Best location in old town - max 10 min walk to all major attractions and best view on old town sqr. Having to come home. It took forever to get to our room, but it really was worth it!. there was nothing that we didn't like!. Breakfast wasnt our cuppa tea!. Good and not so good rooms cost the same. I was annoyed that when I asked the concierge to call me a cab, he called something that was not a real taxi (no meter) and that demanded a fare 2700 coruna more than we had paid an AAA cab coming to the hotel from the airport. The driver also told me a false code for long distance so that I could not call my husband from the cab. The cab was late arriving, also, so I am sure I was fleeced.Better movement of air in the room was needed as it became quite warm during the night. Because of the street noise and the clock striking on the hour, it was not possible to have the windows open. Even a fan would be of benefit. I booked a Superior Double Room however on checking in we were given a room that was located at the back of the hotel via up and then down stairs. The shower was a hand held variety without wall bracket (in a 4* hotel!). We subsequently requested a room change to find that a room 'with a view' of old town square was an additional 20 Euro per night. This should be clearly stated on the website!. half of hotels accomodation is in a separate building - very inconvinient for things like breakfast, internet, etc. Make sure that you reserve a room in the main building!!! Oterwise not worth it!.
