This is a small, family-owned pension that is very conveniently located above the city center area. The facility is very nice and clean and the view from the back terrace is fantastic. The staff/family are very kind and friendly and were very helpful with suggestions for sightseeing as well as helping with transportation arrangements. We were visiting as a family group and used the majority of the rooms in the facility and everyone in the group was very impressed with this pension. I highly r.
all reviews » This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful little old city. Nice location with easy access by car. Our room was wonderful at a great price. We were offered free coffee on a nice backyard terrace when we arrived . On-site parking (no charge) was a big plus for this city. The owners were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ample and tasty. There is not always someone at the front desk but they will quickly respond to the "Reception" call button on the outside entrance. 9.2 and rising,a great place,very clean,rooms good size,neat location on the side of a hill over looking the valley with garden and sitting area did I mention and tidy,great staff and secure parking on site no charge,a bit of an adventure driving to location cobble streets and narrow roadways,well worth the trip. Clean, comfortable room, comfortable bed with split duvet (great idea!). Good wardrobe space. Very short walk to old town, down a flight of stairs close to a bridge. Staff very friendly and helpful - stored our luggage while we spent the last morning sight-seeing; arranged a taxi for us. Very good position, close to tourist attractions, but still quiet area. Large rooms, good quality of service. Reception is not open all day, you should arrive later in the afternoon, or wait for a while. Parking is only possible in the backyard, not on nearby streets. Our Host was very friendly,and she made every effort to iron out any problems and make our stay as comfortable as possible. A lovely lady. The location and the room are just great, and there is not much to be desired. best place. Not air-conditioned(but very few non-luxury facilities are in the Czech Republic). It was very hot in the Czech Republic during out stay, but the evenings on the back terrace were delightful. The location of this hotel is on a hillside on the edge of the old city. There are about 50-60 stair steps on your way to or from the city. This may be a concern for some people. Very difficult to find needs more direction to location. No complaints. Nothing. Access to the parking is only from one entry of the street (the high end) as part of the road is pedestrian only, coming up the hill. Fine if you know but it left us wandering the street looking for the house. Once found the staff were lovely and extremely helpful in directing us back to find the parking. Maybe should be in hotel details though. Strange terry toweling bottom sheet on bed. Different but bed still comfy. Very small shower. Some minor arrangements lacking in the bathroom (hangers and soap holder). Tricky to find. no dislikes. Staff wasn't particularly friendly, tricky to find. For diasable people problematic because there are about 50 stairs to center. I had a problem in first but the owner was fair in my case.I very appreciatted it. nothing. Reception is not always open. difficult to find.
