First, Ina, the hotel receptionist we dealt with the most, was fantastic. We asked her if she could help us find a rental car on short notice and she made phone calls for 30 minutes to track one down for us. I tried tipping her for it, and she refused -- which made me want to tip her even more! Anyways, so her service was great. all reviews » Very friendly staff, lovely room, big clean bathroom. I had to move to the Hotel Dubrovnik the next day because someone else booked my room and I was disappointed. My room in hotel Jaegerhorn was much nicer, there were more pillows on the bed (the other hotel gave me only one which I had to fold in half), nicer bathroom, much friendlier staff, and the breakfast was wonderful. No tea making facilities in the rooms. the 300 metre walk to the parking (as the hotel is in the pedestrian area) and the lack of elevator was not a problem for us, but could be for some travellers. No electrical plug-in in the bath - how to use hair-dryer or shaver?? No mini-bar in the room. Almost no facilities except wi fi,but I didnt need them,it was my city break. We had a room at the back of the hotel. The lights outside kept me awake most of the night - could use block out blinds or curtains. Also, we were wakened before 6 each morning by the kitchen staff getting breakfast ready. Breakfast was not very luxureous, but it was complete and certainly good enough to start your day. There was no slipper in the room. İ want double bed, but there was two seperated beds. There was no lobby for wasting time. Nothing. Nothing. There was no evevator but they carried our luggage to our rooms. Breakfast was adiquete. The room is quite small, but it has everything you need. Slightly smelly drain in the top floor bathroom when it rained... Missing of mini bar. No lift, have to carry luggage to many stairs. There was less pleasant Snelling in badroom sometine. Probably because of inadequate ventilation. But it was clean and newly renovated. Would stay here again. Room developed bad smell from antiquated sewer system, but air conditioning and bathroom fan helped.
