The most friendly stuff I've ever met! They helped us in everything (e.g. one of them arranged even the paying for parking via her mobile phone while we were sleeping :) and after that she helped us to find one of the few free parking places around the hostel. We got a free welcome shot (some local honey schnaps) etc. The room is small but perfect for 2-3 nights, the place is quiet. So everything was absolutely fine! And we even got a great tip where to spend our next summer holiday in Croatia.

People working there are helpful, positive and they gave us lots of advices about Zagreb and Croatia. Hostel is very good located, 5 min tram ride to the central square or 15min by foot. There is beautiful park just near hostel. We are very happy with our stay in Funk Lounge and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for your kindness and hospitalit. We had great time in Zagreb and Funk Lounge Hostel. We stayed in a double room which was clean and comportable despite it was a bit small. The staff was so kind and helpful, they answered all of our questions tirelessly :) The location of the hotel is not so close to the main square but it takes only 6-7 min. by tram. The price was also so cheap. Thanks again to Funk Lounge Hostel staff for everything!. It's a youth hostel, so there is a certain vibe to it. The staff was really nice & friendly. Room was basic but clean. Most important we couldn't fault the bathroom for anything. The location is a bit remote - you'll have to ride a tram or walk 30 mins to the center - but the neighbourhood is green, quiet and with plenty of shops. The staff was super friendly and they provided us with all the information we needed. In my opinion, they did a much better job than the people at the tourist info point and were much friendlier. I am more than happy to recommend this hostel to people looking for clean facilities and a budget hostel. Funk Lounge hostel is amazing! Hostel is very clean and modern, there is everything you need like kitchen, living room, bar and restaurant. Room is very comfortable we had 6 beds room. The best is staff! It's a 25 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride to the centre. I like the stuff they was so excellente and wery friendly, if you need any help you just go to reception and ask, they will help you. The private double room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and made good recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat at. The staff are so friendly to the backpackers. They also offer many events for travelers to meet and keep company with. Zagreb is so travelers friendly and the expense is so cheap that it's easy to wild around. Definitely the friendliness of staff Ines at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and comfy only a 5min taxi drive worth 20kunas from the central bus station. A well run hostel with very helpful lady staff who speak very good English. They have a nice cheap bar with good food. Beds are big and a had good sleep. All top class! Gay friendly. The location is not hat difficult to reach , it's on the map you can get for free st the tourist information office. Also there is a bakery two doors away from the hotel . - Friendly and helpful staff - No problems with Wi-Fi - Big hostel with a lot of travellers so there's always more or less partying in the commonroom (if that's your thing) -Maps and other information is available in the commonrooms for free. Price was ok. The hostel is a little bit far from the old town - the easiest way to get there to hop on a tram. I lasts approx. 8 minutes to get the absolute center. Otherwise really everything was cool. :). Nothing!. The location is a bit of a walk from the main tourist part of town, but there is a tram stop 1 minute away and the area is safe and residential with a supermarket, bakery and bars all around. none. Nothing special. Lots of free coffee but no tea bags - that's the ONLY thing I could think of!. wifi signal was very low in the room. Nothing. All good. Room needed a serious clean. I dropped my towel on room floor and picking it up found lots of hair on it while bathroom needed a serious bleach. at least 20min walk from the city center, but still close enough. There is nothing at all that our party didn't like. No blackouts in rooms. No breakfest included. I can't find anything bad... Not reading lights. The bunks where to close together. Luckily I was alone thanks to the staff changing me from another room but if you where in with others bunks joines and like double beds. some material in bahtroom is out of order. no air conditioner. The only problem is reception girls are so cute that every male guest falls in love... :-). no elevator. Breakfast coordination could be better (meaning, the communication between the reception and the breakfast provider caused a bit of trouble). At my room first floor was so noisy from outside. The bed sheets were too small that you can not cover all the edges. - Cleaning of the dormitories seemed to be a bit sporadic. - Commonrooms were usually a bit noisy. Earplugs is recommended. - Don't expect enough hot water at all times. there was so much dust and walls is tiny and u can listen everything from othr room.
