Kairos is a place that is completely worth every positive (and even gushing!) review it's got: there isn't anything not to like about it. This was my first time in Zagreb and I spent quite a long time prior to visit researching everything about the area; the truth is that I could have turned up clueless - the hosts are extremely knowledgeable and generous with good advice on what not to miss, best food in the city, or pretty much anything else you may want to know. Studio Kairos was the perfect place for a two night stay in Zagreb. When we arrived Danielle was very welcoming. The apartment was exactly as represented in the advertisement. The room was clean and comfortable with quirky decor. We were in the music room, complete with musical score on the walls, guitar and light fitting made from records. The bathroom was modern with quality fittings. The breakfast selection was of high quality.
The apartment is a short walk from the old town where there are .
It's new, clean and bright. It's in a good location because
it's in town with easy access to main roads in and out of Zagreb. Do
not be put off by the streetscape. Despite the busy street out front,
the room was quiet. There is secure free parking. Boris, who claims to
be the hired help but I feel is more an asset to the business than he
owns up to, was very helpful with info on public transport, local
eateries and sight-seeing. Breakfast, prepared by Boris and the
delightful Danijela, was gene.
How friendly are the staff! Wow! From the moment we arrived we felt like home!
We were in the Music Room which is at the front of the house. I was concerned with tram noise but it was very muffled.

It is a great example of not judging a book by its cover. Looks a bit run down when you first arrive but inside is great!

This was really cool. Interior prepared with passion and brain. Everything is now and nice. Staff really helpful. Perfect breakfast with plenty of things. I liked our room with smart and nice details. Small terrace where you can sit and drink. This is not a big 4 star hotel but very nice small BB in the city centre – so parking is not always simple, windows are to a busy street (but room is quiet).
Loved Kairos!! The intimate bed and breakfast feel was wonderful for a trip to the city. The owner was warm and personable and the rest of the staff was always very helpful. The place was the same price as a hotel in Zagreb but the atmosphere and service made it a much more enjoyable accommodation than a typical hotel. One of a kind. Would stay at Kairos again for sure!.
Staff were extremely welcoming, allowing us to drop our bags off early
and then keeping them for us after check out time. They also provided
excellent local advice. B&B is very clean and the location is great;
a 10-15 minute walk to the City centre or there is a tram stop literally
outside the hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean. Free wi-fi.
Rooms were cozy, very clean and quiet. Good location, about a 20 minute walk to city center or a 2 minute ride on the tran that stops right in front. Breakfast was included and it was very complete with eggs, different breads and cheeses, jams. Very friendly staff and good value.
The apartments situated in a good location and close to the centre. They were clean and maintained to a very high standard. The staff were excellent and very informative. I want to Thank Diana for making my short stay in Zagreb very comfortable and very welcoming.
We enjoyed staying at studio Kairos cause the staff and the accommodation were just perfect. As Croatian( Croat) I must say I am proud that there are such cute places as Kairos in our country. Highly recommended for different kinds of trips, you will simply love it.
There's nothing not to like about Kairos, although I should mention
that you might not want to leave:). It's a truly excellent place to
stay for exploring Zagreb and the surrounding area, with fantastic hosts
and a true "home away from home" atmosphere.
Absolutely wonderful staff! So helpful and friendly!!! The breakfast was fabulous, the inn was immaculate and charming. It is walking distance to city center, the Dolac Market and everything you want to see, and right across from the bus tram stop.
This is a beautifully designed oasis and retreat in the city; quiet and comfortable and convenient; the owner and staff are thoughtful and kind, their hospitality gracious - one of the nicest places i've stayed in around the world.
Its close to the city centre (10 minutes walk) and its run by friendly and welcoming people. Breakfast was good too, with plated ham and cheese as well as various bread and jam options - fired/scrambled eggs available on request.

The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Can't fault anything about it.
The room is a bit cramped for a double because of the extra single bed.
Only half of the double bed had a bedhead leaving a big gap down which
pillows could disappear. We solved this problem by sleeping across the
bed with pillows against the wall.
It seems nothing to complain – maybe parking could be limited in some stage.
Difficult to identify things we didn't like so this is being very
picky, but tea and coffee in the rooms would have been welcome, and,
unusually, there was an additional charge for juice with breakfast.
Room was a bit small, not a lot of space to put the bags. Parking is very tight, you need a small car, even to enter their parking lot!.
Finding the apartments was not so easy, there was a small sign that was not very clear when we arrived at night. My first impression was not so good because the exterier of the building was old and needed repair but I was very surprised how well maintained and how good condition the interier was.

Just a very minor inconvenience - watch for their sign from the street, it's slightly small. I recommend to call ahead so that you can spot one of the staff from the street.

Zagreb itself and the general area was disappointing. It was quite dirty, lots of graffiti and in general disrepair. There really wasn't much to see after being in Dubrovnik.

The b and b is less than one year old and the staff hasn't

The outside area is minute and the door leading to the outside area is locked at night, with no way of getting out. I felt very clostrophobic. Our airconditioner switched itself on and off which resulted in our room being hot.
