At Hotel Duje, we enjoy a lot of things as first: very friendly team (especially M. - reception and D. - restaurant), open to discussion,..., location of hotel - very quiet and nice for family as us with small baby (beach just in front of hotel and not so much people), hotel rooms are quiet good - big, balcony view on sea, AC, fridge, clean,... A nice location across from the beach. Super friendly and helpful staff. The lady on reception was especially helpful with tips for local things to do. Good location for exploring local sites (Sibenik, Vodice, Krka np, Sokolarski Centar). Rooms were nice and clean - many have a balcony with sea views. Great shower.

Staff was friendly. Nice view from the second floor room. Room was clean. The receptionists were very helpful and open, checked us in early in the morning instead of left us waiting till 14:00. The pebble beach was just over the street, a few meters from the hotel. Ideal for a family with children, quiet location. The Hotel was just in front of the beach and provides sufficient facilities for parking. The A/C system was limited in term of minimum temperature and was automatically switching off after a while reducing energy consumption. The accommodation and the staff. The bed was comfortable, personal of the kitchen was very friendly. We choose option fullboard. Food is good but not so various, and they exceed with sal!!! ..lunch and dinner are ok. Regarding breakfast is little bit different: coffee not good - if you want something normal you have to order from bar as extra cost, buffet is not various, each day the same things. In general, not so much fruits unfortunately. So if you will come again we will take only breakfast option. The free wifi only worked in public areas (as advertised), would have been nice if it worked in the rooms too. Breakfast selection could have been bigger. There is no internet connection in the rooms. They didn't advertise there was so we weren't afflicted by it, but maybe they should consider adding it to their offer. Poor coffee quality at breakfast. the big mistake on our bill when we checked out ! we were charged twice our double room (on each name !) and kunas and euros were mixed up ! Fortunately we noticed it and a new bill was printed..but careful !. Hotel's pool water looked quite dirty. We did not like to swim there. The restaurant staff and food were far away from 4 stars facility. I would say 2-3 stars...Cannot be compared to e.g. Italian 4* hotels. The pool was not cleaned regularly and the hotel looked without overall proper maintainance. All of those negative bits and pieces were taking the stars away. Indications to reach the place aren't that great. In the toilette there were some damages which should have been fixed prior to our arrival, judgement suspended considering previous clients may not have signalled them. Breakfast had limited choices well before its close out timing. The arconditioning didn't work and it took them a day to fx it again. We left the window open and had big troubles with the musquitos. The hotel made a mistake in the booking, It is clearly not a 4 stars hotel, is 2 as maximum. The food was awful do no take food if you can.
