  The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. They looked up ferry and bus times for us, bought our tickets, advised us... what people say » about unusual shopping needs--anything we needed help with, they were there. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

  I decided to book 2 nights with Villa Split after reading reviews online. They surpassed my expectations! The rooms were tastefully done and chic- contemporary design incorporated into the walls of ancient palace. You can't help but feel like you're part of history. Positively glowing while pregnant) and Antonia ( very stylish. Love the mod look ). Antonia greeted us at - Absolutely fabulous Villa Split Luxury Rooms has everything!! Antonia kindly met us at the port and showed us where to leave our hire car, then walked us into the Palace grounds where Villa Split is situated, on the way Antonia gave us an excellent brief history of the Palace which was invaluable as she was much more informative that the guide book we purchased. Once in our room which is perfect in every way, Antonia said "anything you need, we are here for you" which seems to be the motto for

  The hotel was extremely accommodating. We arrived in Split a night earlier than expected so called the hotel to see if we could get a room for the night before our booking, unfortunately the hotel was fully booked but we asked how early we could check in. We were told 1.30 but that the hotel would call if we could check in any early. We woke up... what people say » at 10 am the next morning with a missed call from the hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 12 and were able to check in which was brilliant and a h - The owner and staff of this hotel, were incredibly helpful and friendly. My husband was ill on arrival and they arranged for him to see the doctor at the clinic, ordered a pizza for supper as we got in late and could not have been more welcoming. The rooms are superbly appointed and very comfortable beds. A bar downstairs was convenient and a lovely breakfast on the outside terrace most enjoyable. - Beautiful rooms, very nice bathrooms. Everything looks exactly like in the photos. The hotel is new, clean, rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff is extremely freindly and helpful. The hotel has a large garage, so you can leave your car and take a taxi to the center (about € 7,-). Breakfast is absolutely sufficient - fresh rolls, croissants, spreads, coffee and juice. We had a very nice time.

The owners, the service (they went out of their way to serve us), very professional, a couple of restaurants within walking distance that have phenomenal food and were recommonded by the owners. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the tourist area: near enough to walk, far enough to be very quiet at night. We liked everythng ab... what people say » out this place and highly recommend it. - If you are traveling to Split, stay here. The staff knows English and does everything to make you comfortable. The room was immaculate and there was plenty of space for two or three people. It is an easy 10 minute walk to old town. Good breakfast and safe location. I'll stay here again.
