The staff were extremely friendly and gave us good indication on places to visit and roads to use. This is very important because GPS does not work in Bosnia. The rooms were very nice and extremely clean. The breakfasts were also excellent, especially if the weather is nice and you can sit down in the garden. Loved the breakfasts alfresco and the lovely cakes Ivana baked every morning. Rooms were very comfortable with lovely pillows and pure white towels. Villa Vice is in a peaceful area of Split, most relaxing and restful, both Ivana and her husband were most obliging.
all reviews » We stayed at Villa Vice the last night before flying home. We had stayed in Split our first two nights as well. The owner was very nice, accommodating and really had a lot of suggestions. Breakfast is served in the garden-lovely spot on a residential street. Walking instance to old town, restaurants and quick drive to port. Loved breakfast outside with lots of homemade breads, cakes, omelets and jams. Owners are helpful and it was a comfortable stay. Richard and I liked the relaxed ambience and friendly assistance provided by our hosts - we were made to feel very welcome even though our stay was for only one night. Quiet residential neighborhood, easy 5 to 10 minute stroll to beaches ,restaurants and city centre. Lovely, friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean, good breakfast. hostess was very friendly and provided a lot of tips. nice made to order breakfast was prepared in the morning. location is close to the old town. Friendly and almost personal attention from the owners, nice apartment, good recommendation regarding restaurants, not far from the main sites. wonderful place ,quied ,ideally located. Was initially difficult to find - all the other places we have stayed in Croatia have contacted us prior to our visit with directions or have offered to collect us from the bus station or port. Very partial view to outside. Pillows. the room was a little small, as we were on a motorbike, and had little room for the gear.
