To start with, location was close enough to the center, easy to find. But there was no elevator to the hostel which is on the 6th floor, yet it has a nice view.
Reception is open from morning to late evening. But if you let them know you will be there at other times I guess it will not be a problem. Staff was very friendly and eager to tell you the town and where to see and eat at.
There is air conditioner in every room which seems a must for this kind of hot place, but I would settle with op. all reviews »
The staff really made the Hostel a comfortable Environment. So much so that I extended my stay by two weeks. Ryan, an American, is Full of useful Knowledge and activities of the local area. I am sad that my Time at the fairytail is ending but my dreams truly came True during my stay. Tranks BF for making the Hostel such a warm and friendly Place.
It was clean. Staff was there at check in (that is not always the case in hostels of that kind). Very good price. I was alone in the room. November is not a very popular time of the year for Split, so I got the whole place for myself.

It was cold during the night. There is an air conditioning in the room but it can hardly warm up the place in November. It was freezing going to the bathroom at night, and very uncomfortable to take a shower.

A staff layed on a bed in our room and talked on phone loudly. I was very shocked, because it is lack of common sense that a staff uses a bed for guests.
