Everything about apartment Palmina was excellent. From the day we arrived, their very friendly manager picked us from the busstop (which was a % minute walk) from the apartment. Then he showed us to the apartment. i was surprised to see a spacious apartment with huge rooms and even a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Well-equipped and excellent facilities including a washing machine dish-washer. It was value for money. What i loved about the apartment was its proximity to the main tourist centre and it .
all reviews » On arrival we were given an upgrade and really loved our apartment. Great cooking facilities for breakfast and the odd meal in. Our host was excellent and really helpful when the wifi was not immediately working. Location was quiet but close. Spiral stairs to loft bedroom made this a spacious apartment. Good location just a short and easy walk to the centre of Split. It was a clean and well serviced, if a bit basic, apartment but everything worked. When we did have a problem with the wifi, the local contact resolved it quickly during the evening and his advice about places to go was very helpful. Great apartment in old city, great location, friendly and helpful manager. Great location for exploring the old city. Plenty of room, clean and tidy. Need to follow instructions to be met and guided to the apparent otherwise hard to find on your own and without help parking is difficult to find. The manager, Augie, is a very helpful man. The apartment is very close to the bus/ ferry despite what google says- google had wrong location so beware. Apartment has a kitchen, washing machine etc and right next to the old town, markets & a supermarket. We stayed in an apartment that opened out on a really friendly pedestrian square where our three children played until late each evening. In three nights felt like we had lived there properly and all about 100m from the Peristyle. Perfect. Excellent location: very quite, near the downtown and the sea beach. Our special thanks go to Augie, the Palmina Apartments manager, and Travel Agency owner. He's a really friendly person you can rely upon. Upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment when it was seen we were a group of mature adults. Friendly staff to help with luggage up stairs, full laundry facilities in bathroom. Close to harbour and castle etc. Very nice apartment, clean and 5min walking from Split downtown. The owner picked us up to take us to the house and was so friendly. The price was so good. Recomended +++. Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment with much needed air conditioning! Great location very close to port and Riva which is 3 minute walk. Highly recommended. Beautiful Apartment. Lovely People. They agency even let me leave my luggage for the day when I came back through town a week later. I will stay here again!. This hotel is right in the herat of the old city centre. New facilities were great and the beds were very comfortable (bunkbeds however). Great location not far from the old town, surrounded by good places to eat and a great base to relax or explore from. The best thing must be the manager Augie, who was relentless. The apartment at Trumbucac is central, but very quiet. Friendly staff, perfect location, amazing view, good value for money, clean and big apartment. We had a great stay at Palmina, I strongly recommend this hotel/apartments. Paractical apparment, and well echiped. Manager Augie was very helpfull and pleasant. rooms in old town with sea view, it was great. The person in charge was friendly and helpful. It was very good to be met at the airport. The location was great. Clean, comfortable, good locations. Our only suggestion is a shower curtain as we tended to soak the whole bathroom. The main advice is to make sure you call ahead to get the right address and directions. Google directions take you down some impossible narrow streets to get to the published Palmina address which turns out to be the office. Also, be careful with parking. The car next to ours was removed by the Authorities, and it was only later we found the warning sign covered by a bush!. Wifi strength wasn't too great at the top floor but was fine if you go down stairs. The stairs... Confusing to find the street. No complaints. These apartments were tight, which is expected for such a central area. Hard to find a parking place, but this is an old city area and we got a full support from manager from every begging. Maybe the walking distance from the car parking to the apartment a little bit uncofortable (for those who travel by car). Nothing. The only real problem was that the apartment was poorly equipped. Hardly anything in the kitchen and no iron. We had to ask for mugs, a kettle and coat hangers, which he provided willingly. A little confusing meeting the host. This is not a hotel, but rather apartments/rooms scattered around the city.
