At Casa Alice you can have the unique opportunity to sample the family’s own red and white wines as well as extra-virgin olive produced in the family’s own olive grove. Very warm welcome from the owner and all staff members. We had a lovely room with a small balcony overlooking the pool from which we viewed some amazing sunsets over the sea. Superb bathroom and plenty of storage and hanging space. Very good breakfasts with jugs of freshly squeezed orange juice and lovely apple cake on each table every morning. Nice to have a pool and sunbeds. Best thing was the fact that Casa Alice offer their guests free beverages throughout the day, including wine made in th.

Walking distance to Rovinnj restaurants shopping and old ton, and to beach. Central fo. The whole experience was superb. From the moment we walked in as weary and very late travellers Christian and his team just nurtured us and spoilt us. Starting with their superb home grown wine which landed in our hand, through to ensuring all of us including the children had all we needed ( including arranging bikes with kid seats) The place is beautiful, the team amazing, bath huge, pool glorious, breakfast gorgeous. It is definitely the best place we stayed in our 8 week trek across Europe. . Excellent service, good breakfast but please note although this is a B&B style villa, you can have drinks ,cake and fruits all the day and it is free of charge -including wine. Christian -the owner overlooking everything is a gem, very friendly, very helpful -he will do anything to make you feel at home! The pool is spotlessly clean and decor and furniture absolutely first class -I recommend Cassa Alice with a mark 9,9 out of 10. Everything at Casa Alice was great from the minute we checked in. The room was large with a nice view. We didn't want to be located in the center of town so Casa Alice was close enough yet far enough away. The owners and staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. New house, very nice and clean , very big rooms , the owners and other personal on the top level , for this period of the year very good heating, good advices for trips and restaurants around , you do not need to use the car to go to Rovinj city - cca 15 min by walking and cca10 min to the sea beach. Absolutely everything. We have become regulars at Casa Alice and it is a wonderful experience every time. The host and his amazing team will spare no effort when it comes to accommodating guests' needs and wishes. Perfect comfort and an amazing place to stay. we hope to return many times. I am gluten free. I notified the hotel ahead of time. The staff went out of their way to ensure my needs were taken care of. Brilliant hosts for which nothing was too much trouble. Excellent rooms with all required facilities -even a spa bath. Breakfasts were not to be missed with both hot and cold choices. continuous tea and coffe was offered as was the nitely tipple of the local grappa. The owner went put of his way to help us. We arrived at 10 in the evening and he picked us up at the port. Upon arrival at Casa Alice he offered us wine from his family vineyard. The next day he took us to pick up the rental car in town. When I became ill on the morning we were to depart, they provided a room on the ground floor at no charge so I could rest until I felt up to traveling. They couldn't have been nicer. Kristiaan is a very friendly and accommodating host. The rooms, breakfast area, pool and facilities are very good. A quiet location which is a relief after the crowds of the city. The staff could not have been more more welcoming very willing to help and inform, with many extra courtesies extended to guests, eg a lift to the ferry so need to call a cab. Villa is about 15 minutes walk from Pored old town centre but Christian is at hand providing bikes free of charge-so this issue oris also beautifully adressed. It would be good if all the services were explained at check in. It was a matter of finding out by asking or from other guests,ie eggs are cooked to order but we didn't know until the last day. The weather was very bad and in the Rovinj town there is no any entertaiment in this period of the year... Absolutely nothing. Bit of a walk to the Old town, but nothing too difficult. Absolutely Nothing!. In August it was too hot to walk the uphill back to the Casa during the daytime. Not quite enough shade around the pool. Nothing. A little far from town, but we ended up enjoying the walk. First floor room opened up onto the patio. The door could only be opened fully or closed, not tilted. No privacy really with door open. The air conditioning system in the room did not work well. In hotter weather, it could be an issue. A bit of a walk (15-20 min.) to the old town. But it was a pleasant walk. nothing. Can't stay there longer and enjoy the swimming pool due to limited time and cold weather during my stay. nothing. located in a housingarea a bit to far from the center. At breakfast a bug was in my scrambled eggs. The attendant took my plate and did not offer to make new eggs. The eggs on the buffet where gone and she left the serving dish empty. I am sure that if Christian were present, he would have properly handled the matter. Absolutely nothing.
