Both were very nice, excellent service from them <3 We were on a road trip for two weeks and your hotel was the only fine hotel that we stayed in.We were there for three days (otherwise we stayed in hostels) It was a perfect choice for three days of relaxing. I still think that your hotel is a family hotel. We were traveling as independent travelers who were not looking for luxury. Great sea view from our room (third floor), beautiful position on Verudela, which is very nice park with walking , lot of sport facilities around, nice central walk street in Park Plaza Verudela next to Histria, good children playroom with girls who also animate children in creative activities, good position for exploring region (Pula town, Premantura, Medulin), spacy balcony, very clean room. Best hotel in the area. Great view from seaside room, facilities of highest sort - large indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, small gym, private cinema (awesome!!) and very friendly and facilitating staff. And yes, a car is very useful - you can rent one from the airport local rental shops - no need for big names since their prices are several times higher :-). All was great! Breakfast has a big variety of choices and good quality! Restaurants were very classy and neatly. It is the best hotel we stayed for years! Therefore the swimming pool was with water from the sea instead of chloride, so awesome! And the beach is also very near. Service was great!! No other word for that. Hotel is set on a peninsula with lots of facilities. Food in buffet restaurant is a good variety with lots of options so you can eat as healthily (or not) as you like. Interior is a contemporary modern design. Hotel has great double sun beds!! There wasn't an "animation" team trying to get you to do activities!!. The park plaza histria was a great place to stay. Our stay included breakfast and lunch which was good and had plenty of options. There is lots to do there and many choices of places to spend the day lounging. The rooms are spacious and the Internet signal is strong, it even reaches down by the pool. We were both very impressed with the whole nature/seafront offered by the inclosed island/ hotel facilities. It was far more than we had expected. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and there was nothing you could wish for at breakfast that they did not have. Truly great!. This is definitively a sun resort, but one delivered with a great deal of style. A great room with space and comfort, not to mention wonderful views. Top class room service. Our sea view room had a limited view of the sea due to where the hotel is situated on the peninsula. More restaurant outdoor seating would be good as there is only a small number of tables available for dining al fresco. Nothing. Unfortunately, I got pricked by a sea creature and got quite a few deep thorns in the palm of my hand. When I asked for at least some sort of disinfectant at reception desk, they were quite unhelpful, and only gave me a plaster in not pleasant manners. I was quite taken by the fact that a four start hotel does not have a small first aid kit. The bullying northern Europeans who ignored house rules and claimed they had booked sun loungers and then ignored them for hours while they fattened themselves of the excellent buffet breakfast!!!. Excellent customer service is an exception (staff should be more like Sasa at reception; a good experience at check out reminded me what everyone should have been like). If you like to lay on a lounger or day bed, then you need to be early (not a problem for me; I prefer being in the sea/ pool, than on the side)!. The feeling of "fake". This is a resort village. Its a holiday world built only for tourists. You dont really get to see nothing of the Croatian culture. But if you want to go vacationing only for sun an swimming, its great. If you want to spend a day in the pool-zone of the hotel, you can never find a free sunbed. People run out and reserve them with towels at 7 a.m. Overcrowded in the summer since one hotel and two quite big apartment resorts are compacted on small peninsula, however lovely location in springtime. Small sauna separated from indoor pool in a way it is cumbersome to migrate from one to another. Food in the hotel restaurant is too average for such a hotel. If you are on a business trip and you have a tight schedule, count on the fact that the staff (restaurant ect.) is slower-paced. The beach side must be cleaned more often.Must do something for the bees outside. Staff not always very pleasant - perhaps a language barrier. Sun beds unavailable - very few for the number of guests. One small outdoor pool for 1000's of guests. Impossible to drink beers outside - wasps come attacking. Not much activities going on in the evenings. Wi fi disconnects all the time. Gym equipment was poor. View from hotel bedroom wasn't the best. Hotel in a resort area, so need bus or taxi to get into/out of Pula. Nothing. Located in holiday area with some shops and sports facilities but good distance from town and required car or bus to get into Pula. Restaurant looked like kinder garden. Chairs looks funny. There's only one bottle opener for the whole hotel! ;-). Sauna is too small, and swimming pool should be warmer. We dined in the main restaurant , the service was good, but the menu was very limited in choice, and the choices we did make, we were then told it was unavailable, the entrees were lovely, but when the mains arrived, they were cold, and the plates wernt hot at all, in a five star hotel, one expects hot plates and the mains to be warmer than luke warm. Hotel facilities didn't appear to be exclusive to hotel guests. Hardly any parking spaces available. People allowed to "reserve" lounge chairs for hours with personal towels. Nothing. Nothing!. I find a wellness a bit to litle for a big hotel. A typical, modern resort hotel with masses of people around. Location of this hotel is far away from city center. If you like resorts like in turkey or egypt, you are on the right address here, but if you want to enjoy the nightlife of the city, you are better of with hotel near the center. Breakfast is very good but less suitable for vegetarians. The resturants in the evening except from one closed 9 o'clock. Therefor it was very busy in one resturant and almost no people in the two others. +++ Maybe only WiFi connection. Every half an hour (or maybe less) if you weren't active you have to login again which was a bit anoying. Nothing!. Nothing. location is uncomfortable when you visit city center. It takes 10 minutes to get there by car. The incredibly stupid bathroom door which had no lower runner, resulting I was unable to exit the bathroom, I had to wait 30 mins till my husband came back to slide the door open. I also thought the dining room chairs exceedingly kitsch and in bad taste. Electrical problems with room. Fridge not working, led room lights stayed on after we turned the lights off for the night, eventually turned off after half an hour. Issues with aircon. Only one pool, crowded. Not easy to get to items at the breakfast, short of bread, eggs, bacon etc. I expected more from city of Pula, but it is not hotel fault. Buffet food rather boring - maybe have a better choice of a la carte dining.
