Comprising an 800 m² spa area, Hotel Lafodia is located on the car-free Lopud Island which boasts 1.2 km of sandy beaches. It features 2 outdoor pools with unique panoramic views and a wide range of sports and gym facilities. All rooms offer balconies overlooking the sea. Offering a panoramic sea view, the Waterhill Lafodia Spa is located on the 7th floor and features a citrus fruits essence sauna, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, cold and flood showers and an ice fountain, footbaths, a relax area and a private area with a hot tub. Six massage treatments using locally grown materials such as Lopud citrus fruits, honey, lavander, rosemary, carob, grapes and salt from Ston are available. All rooms at Sea Resort Lafodia are air conditioned and have flat-screen satellite TV, a phone, safety box, free toiletries and slippers. Each modern room has a work space and a cosy armchair and provides beach towels. Guests can relax on the complimentary sun loungers on Lafodia’s nearby beach, and a surcharge will be applied for their rental in the first two rows. The nature trails and sandy seashore can be explored using bikes or canoes available at the hotel for an additional cost. Jet skies and small boats can also be rented on site. At the Scarlet Restaurant the Italian chef prepares cuisine with a host of Italian and international specialties. The à la carte Restaurant Dalmar Wine&Dine serving local dishes has floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic sea views. In nice weather guests can enjoy their meals on the restaurant's terrace. A variety of drinks are served at 3 bars provided on site. The Lafodia has a spacious meeting room and multimedia facilities, as well as free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Bicycles and a ping-pong table are at guests’ disposal. Various other activities like aqua aerobics and massages are available. Sea Resort Lafodia offers a VIP beach area at an extra charge, which includes the use of a baldachin, 2 sun loungers, a fruit basket and a waiter at your service. There are also 2 outdoor hot tubs. Lafodia Hotel is close to ruins of the Roman era, as well as to churches and convents. The Lafodia hotel fleet provides an opportunity to easily organise excursions and transfers. I had a very nice 4 days in the hotel, good and polite staff, nice meal in the restouran, very good sea view from the room. It was interesting also to have a small travel in the sea boat to Dubrovnik, transfer from the airport was organized very good. Good and clean beach. The room was very clean. All is looking more then you can pay for this money!!!. Fantastic rooms, clean and spacious with an amazing sea view from the balcony. Lovely pool and plenty of loungers by the sea. Good bars, although we found the cocktails were better at the seafront bar. Plenty of choice at breakfast with sparkling wine making it feel that extra bit special.
all reviews » Very modern contemporary hotel with excellent facilities in the beautiful island of lopud. Lovely position on the beach. Breakfast was good although could have had more variation. Nice walk into the village of lopud where there is a good selection of restaurants. The hotel was lovely and clean. The Reception staff was very helpful. One of the Representatives called Renato was especially helpful and patient with teaching us Croatian. Overall we had a great holiday and would recommend this to our friends and family. Nice & cheap ferry ride to the island. The (standard) room was lovely with great views from the balcony. There were enough sunbeds available both by the pool and the private beach. With some minor improvements this could be a 5 star hotel. Very nice and clean rooms. Great view. Pool area. Good music around hotel facilities. The hotel beach was very well maintained. Hotel transfer from Dubrovnik airport. We recommend RobinZoon and Obala restaurant on the beach. A wonderful hotel on a beautiful island. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked. Our room had a magnificent view and was serviced early each day. Pieceful island (off season that is) nice design and coulors. Some really nice staff. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food, but there was only the option of a fixed price menu. Some lovely restaurants on the island though so not a problem for us. Mattresses on sunbeds would have been nice. We felt the bedroom cleaning could have been better. Bed linen was not changed during our weeks stay!. - There was one lousy minimarket on the whole island. - Dinner at the hotel restaurant was somewhat disappointing and expensive. There were nice restaurants at the village, however. - Pick up of luggages from the ferry harbour should be routinely arranged by the hotel. The 15 minutes walk in the hot air can be too much for older couples or families with children. Breakfast was the same during our stay. For 1-3 days it's ok but after you don't know what to eat.Limited options, few salads, no fish options. We took dinner in the Gourmet restaurant but the food was not as taste as it looked. Accent on presentation and not on taste. After you stop all the ventilation from the control panel, you can still hear the general ventilation which can be very annoying. That could not be stopped. The coffee from the machine at breakfast - but that was the only minus!. Hard bed. Jacuzzi should be a bit warmer They said you could get to pool level by elevator. Not quite true. If you are disabled, even a few steps, inside, and outside by the pool is a great obstacle. Croatian food is often not as tasty as it looks. The cheap soundtrack present all the time and everywhere, inside AND outside is a disgrace for a country with such a rich musical tradition. Nothing, loved it all!. Some staff had difficulties to make the things that was on the menus. All perfect :). Only one thing:coffee at breakfast from machine was horrible! Other hotels can make up good filter coffee in thermal pots.I love my espresso but good filter is fine. Can not think of anything !. no cushions for sun chairs and meals could use improvment. going home. The reception area is a bit ugly. dinner menu.

Please note that Lopud is a car-free island and can only be reached by ferry. Guests can drive as far as Dubrovnik and take the ferry to Lopud Island. Ferries are leaving on a regular schedule from Dubrovnik. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
