The apartment is exactly as described, situated in a brilliant location to explore Korcula (just a few steps away from the main gate to the old city and a short walk away to the bus station) and it's easy to find (right behind the main post office). We had to collect the keys from a travel agency situated on the main street just outside the old city, on the way from the bus station to the apartment, which in fact makes things very easy. The decoration is very nice, the kitchen is fully equipped.
all reviews » Good location just outside the main entrance to the old town (so you avoid having to go up the steps with luggage!). The apartment was a good size, cool and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the as others have noted the shower cubicle was small. It was actually fine, but if you were overweight then it could be an issue. It was so well equipped with everything including a washing machine. Also the location was right in the centre of the town and very close to the ferry terminal. The lady at kantun tour company was really helpful and it was easy to find. The beams and brick walls were really quaint. Location in the town was excellent, very convenient to all facilities and sights. Although we never met the owner, the staff at Kantun Tours were extremely helpful and obliging. The apartment was basic but comfortable. The stonework adds character to the place. great location close to both of the ferry's easy to find the Kantun Tourist where you get the key from the unit was very clean and had everything you needed for two nights a good size kitchen close to the shops and restaurants. Location could not be more central, literally. Simply amazing! Having a washing machine was really helpful. Great price/quality value. Great location and price. The location was nice. We had the studio for 2 nights for two adults. The "bed" was not a bed, it was a click-clack folding futon where you would feel the join in the middle. The kitchen was functional, but we really missed not having an iron. The location is great, right in the town so walking everywhere is easy (although Korcula is very small). I am not entirely sure it was worth was we paid for it compared to other places we have stayed. We picked up our key from the travel agent around the corner and she walked u. Korcula is beautiful and apartment was very central. Only one set of stairs to building and we were on lower floor. The bathroom was quite new. Nothing. I'm really happy to have stayed in this apartment, and Korcula is a beautiful place. Checking in at the tourist office took a long time. They gave us a discount card for a local restaurant that turned out to be the worst meal we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia. Not a reflection on the apartment itself but the agency should not promote it because the experience reflects badly on them. That we only had one night there!. Quite difficult to have a shower in the tiny shower recess even for slim people. Requested a twin room but no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. the shower is powerful enough, but the cubicle is tiny. The kitchen/living area did not have an external window. Difficult to find in the evening we arrived but proprietor sent someone straight away to help. Lack of natural light. The room was small and dark. - Having to go to a travel agency to pick up the key - the kitchen facilities were not great- difficult to cook a real meal there - bed is a folding futon in the studio apartment - a little pricey for what it is compared to other accommodation in Croatia. Kitchen utensils and crockery need renewing, old and not very clean. Although bathroom is newish the shower recess was ridiculously small. My sister and I are only rather small so if you are more than 5'3" and over 60kg then you would have trouble. Quite cramped for 2 people. No hot water in the shower at all. H Shower was also clogged. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't bother asking staff to fix. Every room was also quite dark as there were no exterior windows in the entire apartment. Living area in our apartment was too small for 4 adults. Sleeper couch in lounge took up all the space so was too cramped for self-catered meals. No window in living area so was claustrophobic for 4 people. 3 sleeper apartment next door looked much better.
