The appartment is in the Old Town - on 100 m from the main street Stradun and 50 m from "restaurants"-street Prjieko. Of course, it is impossible to reach with car, motorcycle and even with byke any address in the Old Town. But the feeling to be part of this beatiful place is unforgetable. I think, It's worth to choose such an appartment instead of one in the new quarters. The nearest access point is the North City Gate Buza. GPS coordinates of the nearest parking: 42 38' 32.37"N 18 06' 37.29"E.
all reviews » We stayed in 2 different studios here one on the ground floor and one at the top of the house. Both are nice but the view from the top over the Dubrovnik rooftops is fab ... just open the window, sit up on the high stools considerately provided and sip a glass of vino - Bliss both during the day and night time. Location is great right in the middle of Dubrovnik old town - close to everything. Location was great, right in the old city center and the owner was very helpful and was around just enough. I've stayed at places where people who lease out rooms want to hold a conversation for days, Branimir only outlined a map for us and recommended site and things to do. Just the right amount! Wifi was readily available and the room was clean and simple!. Very nice owner, he supported to carry our luggage. He also brought us to airport bus station that is near by apartment. There are steps on the streets up to the apartment and 47 steps to get to the top studio so not suitable for anyone with difficulty walking but this goes with being in the old town!!. If you've never been to Dubrovnik before and are driving into town following a GPS like we did, you should know that the apartment is located within a NO CARS allowed part of the city... literally right in the old town city square. So park in the nearby lot and walk down. There were definitely a lot of stairs and depending on how old you are and how much luggage you have, it may not be ideal. It was not so big problem, but hot water amount is limited. For first person, it is no problem. For second person, you need to wait 10-15 minutes to charge the hot water. Between the walk up to the apartment and the stairs in the building itself, we had 115 steps to climb to get to our room. This could be a factor for some folks. Too many steps up and down the old city. Over 100 steep steps to front door! Not suitable for older guests. Needs dressers for clothes and bedside tables and lights. More and better cutlery. The place was really difficult to access. There are some big stairs to climb and inside the appartment the bathroom could be dangerous with stairs also to go to the shower). I will recommand it only for young couple. - A lot of steps to reach the building, and many stairs to reach the apartment on the top floor. Not suitable for those who have difficulty to walk or those who have big luggages. - Room is not clean. Dust everywhere: sofa, dining table, carpet floor. - Hot water in the bathroom is very limited. As I did check out I leave my luggage at the apartment. I got a call during I was dong sightseeing that I have to pick up my stuff earlier than when we made an appointment! I had to bring my backpack for the rest few hours of the day, in the 36 degrees! crazy.
