Hosts were lovely and incredibly helpful as soon as we arrived. Th location couldn't be better, a 2 min walk to the supermarket and less than 5 mins to the harbour front with all the restaurants and bars. SD House is situated within a lovely courtyard with table and chairs in a very quiet area. would strongly recommend for anyone staying in bol. it was about a 25 min walk to Zlatni Rat beach (but there are much nicer smaller beaches within 5/10 minutes).
all reviews » We had a great time at SD house and Bol. The hostess was wonderful and very helpful. It was short distance to center of Bol and nice beaches. It was in a quiet neighborhood and still close to everything. The apartment was nice and clean. All we needed. It was also close to a supermarket with fresh bread in the morning. Very nice room in a villa 2 minutes away from Bol town center by feet. a supermarket and other facilities Owner is very nice and helpful and the location is perfect to visit either the town center and beaches without being in the crowd of the main road. The area in which the villa is located is very quite. Great location! Right next to the train station and only 100 meters from the central bus station, which is right across the street from the port. About 10 to 15 minutes walk to the famous Bacivce beach. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Great value for the money. Te owners were very nie to us! First we had a problem with the boat, which only arrived at 1 am to Supetat, which is 30km away from Bol. The owner was kind enough to pick us up, a real life safer! And the next day they gave us very useful tips of places to see and eat in Bol. Beautiful and quiet location, yet close to the town centre and the beach. Outstandingly friendly owners. We arrived very late, but a young gentleman was awaiting us and taking time to explain attractions in the area etc. Definitely to be recommended. Delightful owner Tonkica who welcomed my sister and I with great gusto and offered us a glass of local wine. Very helpful info re catching local catamaran and excellent recommendation of where to eat...... Santos. Excellent value. Location was good, just a little walk up the hill near a supermarket. Staff was very friendly. I could by a nespresso cup every morning which was a plus. Breakfast we ate at one of the tables placed outside for the guests. Great appartment for a very reasonable price! Very nice and helpful owners. We definately will come back. Bol is a beautiful place and we recommend visiting it in May: nice temperature and not crowded yet. We stayed in the studio which was recently renovated. Very friendly hosts who are always available to cover your needs. Nearby grocery shop. Center of Bol is also very close. The room was simple clean and comfortable. It would be great for solo traveller or couple not wanting to spend too much money. Comfortable bed and airconditioning was great. The owners were overwhelmingly helpful and happy to answer any questions. They helped with our plans and went out of their way many times. Very kind people. Very friendly welcome. Beautiful building, very comfortable apartment. Beautiful room, we stayed in the apartment which was very nicely decorated with original Singer sewing machine!. The location is really good and the house is clean. The garden is very beautiful as well. Near of the center. The bathroom was spearate to the bedroom, however dont be put off by this (most rooms had en-suite) and the bathroom was private for the room and lockable and very clean. We have noe special dislikes about Bol or SD house. Only thing maybe, is that Bol has alot of tourists in July /August when we went there. Some like that, some don´t. :). You'd better ask for private parking in advance, since parking places in the area are very limited. Anyway there's no problem to park there for the time necessary to offload your baggages. I couldn't get the air condition work. Hot water ran out pretty quick in the shower. The room's Windows did not close properly so I woke up with the morning light. Downside was de shower which was always cold because of to many people showering before us. Also annoying were the squeaking chairs on top of our bedroom so we could not sleep early. The only problem in our appartment was the shower: after showering we had to dry the bathroom floor. But the owners are in the proces of renovating the bathrooms. When i arrived i could not find anyone to check in. In fact there is no reception. 2 days after i arrived i still couldnt find anyone to pay. However the comfort and cleanliness is more important so i would stay again. Bit confusing to get to, but just make sure you use the town map and come from the bottom of the road :). The room is dark with small windows. This is pleasant when it is hot. In other cases, it a bit too cool. However, the room was value for money. Very limited selfcatering facilities. The answer eat out or buy takeaways!. Nothing. It's a bit far from the beaches. 30 mins walk min. Bed was a little hard. Shower was slightly coming away from the wall but worked nonetheless. None. none. the bathroom could have been better. Need some help at finding it but everything else is 10/10. One of the neighbors have a big dog which was kind of cut-throat, I was almost bite by the dog. The charge of 5 euro for internet is too much, and plus, I was also charged for a city tax which is about 2 euro. There wasn't an extra blanket.
