We stayed in a two bedroom unit which was quite roomy and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about day trips, car rentals and transportation to and from the airport. Since we were a group of adults traveling together the living room and kitchen spaces were well used and appreciated. Housekeeping was flawless and the restaurant and bar were excellent options when we didn't feel like venturing out. It was a bit of a walk to the center of Jaco but taxi service was ch.

We could not have hoped for better service in every way. Love the resturant/bar/reception area and ate there often. Lovely open air atmospher and view. Food was very good too. All in all it was a wonderful six night stay. The staff is among the best I have encountered in Costa Rica. We have been to Club del Mar several times over the last four years. The owner and staff always make us feel like we are important to them. The free breakfast was a nice addition for this reservation and the restaurant is quite good. The suite was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The beach was a short walk away. Forest trails led up from across the street. If you have a car, you can access Mario Antonio national park and Uvita to see the whales. This hotel was amazing. The staff and owner made us feel welcomed and helped us with anything we asked for. The rooms are great, clean, and have a beautiful view of the beach. If I come back to Jaco I will be staying here. The rooms with balcony views of the ocean were beautiful!! And the staff was just amazing! They were so helpful and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay in Costa Rica and at their hotel. Amazing experience!. Off the jaco beach madness, but close enough to take part in the festivities. Nice pool, beach is nice once you get past the rocks... Not recommended for night walks, but early morning walkers will be fine. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed - much better than any other place we've stayed in the area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everything was perfect, the attitude and attention of staff, food,very comfortable apartment. I can recommend this hotel to everyone. Room was very spacious and outside area was nice. Location on beach was convenient and allowed for lovely sounds of the ocean. 1 bedroom condo was perfect, as was the grounds. Condo decor was "Tommy Bahama" luxury. Food was good. Staff was very good. great staff, who helped out even when you didn't ask. marvellous location. really spacious rooms, good value for money. I like a lot the comfort of the rooms. Aside from a stray ghost crab that wandered into our room uninvited. I can find nothing to complain about. No microwave in the kitchen. Really, nothing. The noise of trucks roaring past on the street was awful. But they were able to fix to an extent. The breakfast was not generous and required supplements (at a cost). Breakfast food was close, but not close enough... French toast was soggy, pancakes were gooey and yet crispy, fruit was delicious! Coffee and tea were great. Regulars are less than engaging. Everything was great!. Nothing. Too close to the road meant very noisy. Beach was beautiful from a distance but, up close, the black mud/sand was littered with trash. The first thing we saw was a hypodermic syringe!. food in restaurant was not top drawer. Breakfast that is included in the room rate is a cup of coffee, two toasts with jam and butter, and a fruit plate. If you need more (and you will definitely do), aqui esta la cuenta :) Nearby road sometimes is noisy. The wifi was marginal. It is not accessible from the rooms and is weak when accessed ar the bar or restaurant. Not ideal for those wanting access to downtown Jaco without a car as it is kilometre or so outside town. The only short coming was the only one selection for the included breakfast, which was still great. Again, location is good but the access road is busy, so there is some "engine brake" noise late into the evening. Nothing. our suite was too close to the road - make sure you book 'oceanside' vs ocean 'views'? & the condo could've def been better appointed - no napkins, spices, could use at least one non-stick pan, some paper towels?. the power outage/s, and the price was a little high. As it is on a main road, there is noise at night. Maid service failed to clean one day but it was immediately rectified. No entertainment/activities at night. Can be a bit noisy from traffic. Occasionally, there is a concert or disco that can be noisy for guests above. They call me 10 minutes after the checkout for remember me the time... roaches and bugs inside rooms; traffic noise heard from the second bedroom. The beach was too rocky, and the two days I stayed, the place was crowded not with guest but big groups of people that pay for using the facilities during the day without staying the night. The restaurant is pricey. I didnt like some of the staff customer service.
