I'll be honest, when I made my reservation my expectations were low. I believe they were equal to what I was paying. all reviews » Going to this hotel you must not expect the super-luxurious conditions, but for this affordable price it is the perfect place to stay in. I've passed by the other hotels of the similar price on San Andres and sometimes the reality may be very different from what you expect according to the hotel description. In this case my expectations were fully met. The hotel is located in the quiet picturesque place. The sea is right across the road (although there is no beach there for sunbathing, but you . All staff was very kind, helpful and friendly at all times. The place is not luxurious but counts with anything a traveler needs for a comfortable stay. Hotel is in front of a rocky coast with very quiet and cristal clear waters, ideal for diving, and only 5 minutes away from San Luis beach, that you can reach by public bus (only 1600 Pesos, less than 1 dollar). Hotel location in the southern area is away from the town, very quiet, quite good for relaxing. Friendly service with a welcoming and laid back atmosphere. Lots of smiles and great service! As it is at the south end of the island the location is lovely and quiet. Regular bus service provides cheap transport into San Andres town. The hotel also offers bicycles for hire. We have stayed at this hotel several times mainly because of its priviledge locación in front of the coral reef, swimming, diving and freediving here is amazing. Most of all the food and the care they have with the costumers. The staff was super friendly and very hospitable. Staff and location. Nothing. I had to leave!!!!. Sometimes it took up to 30-40 minutes to wait for the bus. I would suggest to put some tent nearby the road :) The air conditioner was very noisy so I had to turn it off for the night (but it was still cool enough if it kept working during the day). No nightlife or restaurants available in the area nearby the hotel. The accommodations are more like a motel than a hotel - but the good value for money and friendly atmosphere more than make up for this. Breakfast was ok but the quantities may not be enought if you are really hungry. The advantage and disadvantage is that is down south of the island. If you want to be calm its great and you can easily and cheapily take the bus to downtown or to the beaches. I can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel. It's hard to come up with a negative, we truly loved every minute of our stay. I would say if you are used to staying at posh boutique hotels you may be slightly put off by the rooms They are pretty bare bones white walls, a bed, a TV, and a mini fridge, but really how much time do you spend in your room? It has everything you need!. We loved everything, there is nothing not to like. Water pressure in shower was no good hard to shower..lol minor inconveinence. Transportation from or to downtown isn't easy. Renting a golf car is recommended. There is nothing to complain. Old infrastrucure. Everything.
