i'm DJ and i'm travelling in a lot of hotel. This one is the one i will always go in Medellin because the hotel and service are very good. very good localization, beautiful hotel and room, good internet connection, full TV canal options (in case of rain), emplyees very helpfull and nice. The design and cleanliness was superb. The maintenance was excellent. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The location was great for easy access to everything we needed.
all reviews » i loved the design of the hotel the duvet was amazingly comfortable. the rooms are spacious. the value for money was excellent . felt like i was in an architecture magazine . close to parque lleras where there are plenty of bars/restaurants, also close to shopping area and city centre. spacious rooms, comfortable bed, good shower. The staff greeted us with professionalism and warmth. We were even upgraded to a junior suite. The room was very beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great Location, Great friendly helpful staff, Fun design and activities if you have time. Good location. - Friendly Staff - Good Locations. nothing negative to tell except no 24H room service. But it's ok, there are 100 restaurants realy close to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good the first two mornings, but we stayed for 6 nights and there was very little variety. they only had one iron in the whole hotel. i booked the best double room but there was club next door that pumped until 3 am .. thank godi was too tired from work to notice but do not get room 209 .or 210 .if you wanna sleep that is .... plumbing noisy so get awaken by any adjacent early risers. staff very variable. hotel tried to charge for insurance, which was quickly retracted when i queried it. Would not recommend the upper floors to families with small children as the railing around an open center is not solid and a child could easily slip through. The was still some construction sounds, to avoid them ask for a room closer to the street, sounds odd but the street is actually pretty quiet. you can hear people walking outside your room, kind of noisy. not much in terms of food and some basics were missing like tissues. Room very dark. The room are noisy. walls of rooms are too thin. I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. Very little English channels on the TV. Rooms a bit dark. Poor quality breakfast. It was high season and apparently the staff was not enough for offering a good service: +30 minutes for check in, waiting list for morning breakfast, no possible use of spa area (as it was full)... It seams like facilities and staff are designed for a bed & breakfast or a very small desig hotel instead of a full 55 rooms hotel. noise from the clubs across the street. rooms relatively small, although ist called ART-Hotel, they were no paintings or decoration at all at the room. Staff were friendly but recommendations were poor, for example following recommendations we went to pueblito paisa in the night, when the whole point of this location is the view which we couldn´t see. Also the breakfast omlette wasn´t cooked and gave me food poisoning. - Dark rooms (No natural light) - Extreme noisy rooms (Could hear the neighbours talking). - Price/Quality is not correct. For backpackers who want to party a perfect location!.
