The hotel was clean and the staff wonderful! They even allowed me to cook breakfast one morning . I was only disappointed with the selection of food, and the care of the buffet. There were fruit flies on the fruit! I know that this is normal in a tropical area but a little bit of a disappointment . Kitchen was clean and value great for hotel. I stayed at another place that was all inclusive and payed 3 Times the price I did here and was dirty and staff was only ok! I recommend this place to any.
all reviews » The staff was amazing- spoke English really well, always wanted to help and always smiled. The location is the best in the old city- you can walk to everywhere. Breakfast was really good, wifi always worked. You can do reservations to everything with the hotel- to playa Blanca, to the volcano.. The hotel is very beautiful and clean all he time. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They really wanted to please and we had no doubt about their sincerity. They asked for feedback from us on a tour we took and were clearly striving to promote not only the hotel but Cartagena , answering every question we posed. Highly recommended. We liked everything about this hotel. It's very pretty, clean and all the staff was very helpful. It's closed to everything you need from barber shops to night clubs. Mini bar not so well stuffed. The sound insulation is really not perfect. Swimming pool near lobby lacks privacy, not comfortable to use. breakfast selection limited...though adequate. Small pool. Very noisy: there's a disco near the hotel that play music during the night, since 5 am, so it's very difficult to sleep. Poor breakfast small room and bathroom dark rooms. Rooms on ground floor are without windows.
