actulay the hotel was good and price is good and the location also was good my tavel in Nanjing is was just for one days and It was business travel so I don't know any something about shopping. Clean room, beautiful lobby, good location near Nanjing wall and 20 min walk to beautiful lake for morning walk. As you move further into central China, communication in English will always be an issue. I was not surprised to find that this was the case at this hotel. It wasn't a huge problem but it didn't make things overly easy. The rooms where clean and beds where comfy. The location was alright, as I didn't really know Nanjing it was very difficult to gage exactly how far away from the metro you are. It takes about a 15 mins walk to get there. Once your on the metro its very easy to get around. It is .
