I like the friendly staff (Rick) and his promptness in assisting us whenever we needed anything.He also arranged for transportation and tickets to attractions in Kunming and gave his suggestions as well.The location is superb and very convenient as we are Muslim.A Lot of muslim restaurants around the area and within walking distance.The free airport transfer is also a plus point. The driver waited for us at the Arrival Hall holding a paper with my name on it. The view from our room at Level 25 .
all reviews » The apartments were spacious and good quality. They made a mistake with our reservation but they were able to accommodate us for 2 nights in 2 nice apartments. Good location, clean room, fairly priced. The management keeps the apartment clean and smoke free. I would recommend this property to everyone. Well positioned in Kunming with a large mall and grocery store beneath the building. Easy walk or taxi to Green Lake, University area, etc. Great location, very modern room design. Upgraded to the non-shared facilities room and got a very large apartment room(3 bed rooms). Location cannot be beat! Wifi, Laundry, living room, and a set up kitchen were great. Manager speaks English, very helpful. In city center. Near a mosque and a lot of halal food around. The kitchen is well kept and clean. The Location. Friendly English Service. The staff was very helpful, the location is good, there's a shopping mall and a starbucks just outside the hotel. It's quite clean. Position. It is fully self contained. Proximity to shops and supermarket. Price is reasonable. someone was at the airport but the car was too small for 3 guests and bags. I don't like the smell of the toilet especially when we did not use it for quite some time.The toilet is clean but I guess the smell came from the drainage system. The room a bit dusty too even though we cannot see it, but everyone in the family sneezed quite badly after sleeping on the bed. No on site concierge or front desk personnel to immediately answer questions or give tips like in a normal hotel. However, Rick the manager was very prompt in returning text messages and extremely helpful with good English. nothing, everything was great... Finding it the first time is hard. You enter the building as though you lived in one of the apartments through door "B". It is not easy to find. Unless you request for airport pick up. (not applicable). The kitchen side was not clean. The room was not ready. Is not really an Hotel, more of a service apartment but not very luxurious. The worst is clearly the beds, they are as hard as you can get them in China. Difficult to find and access and enter! Staff were vague and flippant. Cleaning lady twice walked in unannounced. We were told that the supermarket was in the basement but it wasn't. We spent 15 minute finding it in the neighbouring building. Difficult to check in upon arrival. Rick is always busy with guests and can't locate him at his office.We arrived at 6 pm on 24 July and rooms were still not cleaned. We arrived again on 30 July at 3pm and rooms were not cleaned yet. Rick is helpful indeed. we arrived at the airport and on the way to the "hotel" were told we were not going to have the nice 2 bedroom but 2 other little studios no air conditioning no fridge no fitness center you should delete this listing from your service as it will only make you look bad in the future.
