The price was super cheap, the service and amenities were far beyond the price! I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. There were several English speaking employees which was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a very nice are, within walking distance to the Square and Forbidden City. the Chinese reception staff handled my booking in and out promptly, conversed in English, translated my directions into Chinese language so I good give to taxi drivers.my room on 6th floor was huge with a comfortable bed. the shower and bathroom good. daily cleaning.no complaints with this hotel.

Location - jist ten minutes walk from the Forbidden City. Clean and comfortable. Spacious and clean rooms. Hotel is located in the center of the city. Close to Tian'anmen Square and shopping. Room with the view. Good location. I know the hotel call Jiantailong INTERNATION hotel, but it is anything but international. The staff does not speak English. It is a heaven of smoker, you can smoker any wear in the hotel. They de-smoke my non smoking room by taking away the ashtrays. For some reason the television wouldn't work. We had the same problem at a hotel in Hong Kong, maybe it is a cultural thing. Not a deal breaker by any means though. every thing was better than expected. Wifi acces only in the loby, and slow internet access, but this is usual almost everywhere in China. WiFi is only in the lobby. There was not minibar in the room. carpet by between bed and shower had been wet, slight mould. far from subway wired internet in room. nothing. the hotel didn't on the centralized air conditioner while our 3 days stay. it very hot and we can't sleep well at night. No Wifi in rooms, just cable internet. No COFFEE making facilities, you'll get only 2 green and 2 black tea bags per day! The cups and spoons were not clean with tea stains inside. Not a big deal though, just needed to wash them before use. Carpets needs renewing, they smell a bit. İnternet is very slow, signal is week and is only at the hotels loby. rather far from subway, having in mind that lately very difficult to catch a taxi on a street gives an unpleasant feeling of uncertainty to reach the required goal or walk on foot approx. 2km. Not really clean A bit far from metro (10 minutes walk). If you get a room on the inside of hotel there was mold next to the bed and the carpets was wet. Leaks from the shower and the smell is bad could not sleep. Changed room and it was the same, request for a room that is on the outside facing the street or buildings. Also the rooms on the inside you can see the other guest on the opposite side. Position, far from the subway but close to a nice street. No exchange at the hotel Not speaking english good. Very bad! Any description of this hotel was completely false! They didn't find our resevation! They charged us for more than what we agreed on booking! It is very far from any subway station! And the staff were very unfriendly and didn't know English! Plus they didn't have the room we ordered because they overbooked this rooms!. Staff were rude unable to help with any of our queries. The hotel was a maximum 3star rooms really dated. No English understood by concierge staff or resturant! Stayed two days hated it.
