Beautiful, interesting surrounding -in the middle of chinese tipical life. Helpful stuff. English spoken. Nice atmosphere. Excellent location near metro line, clean accommodation, helpful staff, had a bar and free internet. Good staff, original district with real chinese lifestyle and near pricipal attractions. The trip to the Ancient Great Wall was really great. level of english of front desk staff. beautiful old building. The location is nice, ver close to the forbidden city and in lively part of Bejing. A little bit hard to find down the back alleys (the map online is wrong), had to get one of the members of staff to come and find us. nothing. We didn't enjoy the black mould in the bathroom and the lock on the door was really loose and felt like people had broken it in the past. The room was very dark. The locker was faulty a bit. Needed some minor repair. The shower was either burning hot or ice cold. Tricky for taxi-drivers to find. Fixtures in disrepair, unclean feeling, loud inside at night (due to drunken guests and inaction of young staff); tour to Wall incuded a surprise extra fee for lift at site of ca. 30%, which was disappointing. Dusty and cold rooms. not so great place - little bit dirty, pluming is hardly working. toilet. There is a lot of cats in the neighborhood and you could smell it when you enter the hostel. Rooms themselves are modest with their own bathroom but the bathroom facilities are old and broken. We had very unpleasant experience with our toilet. This hostel is suitable for backpackers with low expectations, I would say. Very basic hostel, rather dirty (esp. bed and sheets) and worn-out. Non toiletries provided. hostel is not clean at all. The room was very humid, and stunk.the sheets were dirty and very old. if you have to stay here, ask the staff to give you a room facing the courtyard. because other rooms are even worse. The worst hostel I have been to in China. Dirty, smelly, cold, dark, bar is expensive compering to others bar in neighbourhood. Not clean, poor quality beds, hard to find location. it was smelly, dirty. linen with stains and holes in it. overflowing toilet, smell of sewage. The Whole room is smelling badly, the washroom is very small, TV is not working, there are no service items,. The organization is really bad, the cleanness is very bad and sanitair is in very poor state.i won't recommend it to nobody. The room was not so clean and the towels were old and a humid. The bed was hard -a common thing in a lot of chinese hostels. But we could not sleep because other guests were screaming at 2-3.a.m. in the corridor every night. We paid 260 yuan/person for a tour to the Great Wall. They drive 9 people there in an old and insecure van and avoid the motorway -cost: 30 yuan-. It took more than 2.30 to get there -normally it takes 1.30-. By far, the worst hostel we have stayed in China. Dirty room, stinky bathroom, mouldy walls, stained bed sheets, far from subway. Everything. all!!! I was in Leo only one night, next morning I leaved it.
