The location is extremely convenient, just a few steps away from the subway station, the area is fine and felt safe. All of the staff were excellent! Genuinely friendly, courteous, and many times went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. From the breakfast staff, reception, to the owner himself, everyone was kind and helpful. It's a small business, and you can definitely feel the personal touch and care in the staff.
all reviews » A lovely place to stay when in Santiago. The staff are efficient at organising transfers and at check out. I really appreciated the advice in where to go, eat and what to see. The rooms were spotless (I stayed 3 times when last in Santiago). There are two lovely common rooms where you can relax and read. The breakfast was good and served by a sweet lady with a smile. The staff at Mito Casa Hotel were great, they were so very helpful even before our arrival - Tamara arranged our transfer from the airport to the hotel. The decor was beautiful, the internal courtyard so peaceful and cool after a hot day sightseeing and the breakfast was the best we had during our travels. I would definitely recommend this hotel. the hotel stuff was really friendly , especially special thanks to rodrigo, oskar , helen and everyone;) helen gave us her metro card, so you can understand how friendly they are. breakfast was good, and the location was very close metro station and bella vista, you will have fun in this specially designed hotel;)) thanks guys... The staff were extremely friendly and helped us out with local information about restaurants, what to see in Santiago and a self organised walking tour. They also arranged a day tour to Valparaiso for us which was excellent and assisted us with laundry. Would highly recommend this hotel to others. The location is terrific - very close to Belle Vista area which is full of restaurants and stores, plus close to a nice hike up a high hill that gives you good views. It is also very close to a major Metro stop, from which you can get to many places. The staff was exceptionally helpful also. The rooms were clean, modern, comfortable beds. Best of all, the location is central to so much -- Bella Vista, a metro station, lots of parks, Cerro San Cristobal, Cerro Santa Lucia, the National Library. My husband has asthma& we asked for a ground floor room,even the room was tiny,we had access to the patio.which was pleasant,as we could leave the door open & walk in & out.Staff spoke good English. Nothing. Noisy wood floors, but that was just a minor inconvenience. There were no cushions on the furniture on the upstairs terrace. It would have been nice to sit outside and have coffee. I had a courtyard room, which was a little noisy when the Kitchen staff were setting up the tables for breakfast. Nothing. Everything was great and I would highly recommend this hotel. Really noise! It's a beautiful old house, but like all olds houses they are noise. All the economic rooms are in front of the avenue and it's also a noise problem. Some rooms doesn't have bathrooms, although the bathroom outside will be private!. parquet magnifique ancien mais bruyant. Nothing. Cold shower every now and then. Just keep in mind that there is no elevador and some rooms have bathroom outside the apartment, although private. Wifi did not work in my room by the garden. Nothing really, there are no lifts but the staff helped with bags. parking is difficult in the neighbourhood. Creaking floor-boards!. No elevator. There was absolutely nothing to dislike. I was in Room #1 which I found dark. Like others hotels in Chile that we stayed, hasn´t intimate shower in bathroom. street noise opening the window - no air conditioning - noise walking the floor ( made of wood )- bath outside the rrol uncomfortable. Front room too noisy due to traffic; can't sleep without earplugs.
