I liked how they would change our towels and remake the beds even though we threw the covers over ourselves, everyday while we were there!! the girls were very friendly!! my grandson had a great time in the pools too!! the rest. was great too! we will be back again for sure!! keep up the great work!! hooray for clean rooms and clean carpets!!!!!!. Was early for check in plus was booked in a non pet room (in town for a cat show) and they went out of their way to get a room ready for me immediatly. Restraunt on site has excellent food and is teasonablly priced. Pool is set in a tropical setting which is appealing.
all reviews » I liked most things about the room. It was cozy and comfortable. The bed itself was unbelievable! The location wasn't spectacular, but the Winnipeg public transportation services made it easy to get around. The weekday value breakfast is SOOOO worth it. The helpfulness of the staff at the front desk. They didn't have a ready answer for some of the things/locations we asked about, but they knew where to get the answers and they did! Dining room staff friendly and attentive to us. I liked the fact that the room was so clean. I loved the very friendly girls at the desk and I would definetly stay again. I like d the pool and bowling alley situated in the same building. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was reasonably priced with really good breakfasts. We had a family gathering and were able to visit at tables around the pool during the day. I like the location, was in the proximity of what I wanted to accomplish in Winnipeg. I appreciated that the hotel was able to accommodate my later request for a main floor room. Clean rooms, towels. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Staff responded quickly to replace coffee maker. Restaurant menu was excellent and so was the service. I liked the price of the hotel room and it was close to most stores we shop at. The bed was comfortable and it was reasonably quiet. Staff is very helpful. They brought me a cot into the room without extra charge. Pool open til 10 or 11 and the noise from kids playing makes it impossible to sleep til it closes. The heater had a bunch of potato chips clearly visible in it... and the heater didn't really change the room temperature much. How can we sign up for membership and use our four-day stay with you to our advantage?. Many rooms open on to the pool and spa area and these got quite noisy on the weekend. The pool doesn't close till 11 pm so anyone trying to sleep before then is out of luck. No elevators. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that it smelled of stale cigarette smoke, it must have been a smoking room at one time. I was charged full room prize. I called them the next day - and the charges were adjusted. rooms were not as clean as could have been noise from the pool makes it hard to sleep if you have to go to bed early. No one thing comes to mind, we really had no complaints. Some hangers were not working properly in Rm.125 Travelodge East in Winnipeg. Well there was pooltables but they were located in the bar so the bar was constantly occupied for other booked parties so we didnt get to be in the bar at all i wish that would have been in seperate rooms. Parking - access entrance. More exiting from hotel if you need to go North. a bit grubby exercise facilities very limited awkward road access getting in. Could be upgraded. noise by the pool. everything was good. It was all good. Harder to get a specific room. the only thing we did not like was the joining door to other suite. We heard everything the guys were talking about and they were talking so loud we could not hear our T.V. Not very sound proof at all. room wasn't cleaned the first day internet didn't work most of the time night desk staff was unhelpful the first night second room was very small and smelled funny. Rooms were small and there were only two electrical outlets in the main room area. Wifi was a little on the week side. The water was turned off the day I got here, the restaurant was closed cuz of it and the internet was down for 2 days in a row and then another day a few days later. I got in big trouble from my boss because of it. Almost fired as the condition of my trip was that I work from my room. Restaurant prices were a bit high as well. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the guy in the next room as clear as if he was in our room. Noise n snoring was a real treat. the room was old and outdated. caulking around fixtures, old bathroom, old wall paper. curly hairs in tub. could not plug in too many devices as it blew the breaker. No elevator. The room was very cold. i didnt like that they gave my double room away and put us in single room when I have a 13year old son my room didn't have an outside window the room also had a foul order to it. The price I booked through letsbookhotel.com was not what was reflected on the invoice when I checked in. The tv needed to be repaired by the management before it would work. The internet did not work at all. Cell phones had no reception in the room. The only window in the room faced the hallway. It was stuffy. The room was crowded. The toilet made noise through the night. The shower ran out of hot water.
